Guess who finished the art a few days ago? I'm a weirdo, I know. Side note I just watched Carson's stream of POV and living my best life, but it got better when he was joking around about a dating POV. I'm dumb I know, lol.

I woke up to my alarm at 10am I groaned at the thought of working. I love sleep a lot but been trying to get up around 9 to seem like a normal human. I sat up and checked my phone. Oh a message from Carson!

Did you tuck me in??
Also sorry for sleeping on you

I replied with a "np" as well as "gotta tuck in the homies"

I got out of bed and started getting ready for work. I had to wear a plain black shirt, jeans, but I also left my hair down for today. Today was probably going to be uneventful.

I headed grabbing the essential keys, wallet, and phone. I locked up the door and started the walk to my car.

I at least had a buddy at work. His name was Ed and he worked here for a couple of months. He had black hair and brown eyes, he also looked to be around 25 or something. He was showing me how the place ran, as well as the duties needed to be done.

It was around 5pm where I began to feel tired. I should've asked if there was a different schedule. The door swung open and Ed said a greeting. I looked up and saw Carson. I smiled as he waved and went to grab something's.

Ed leaned over, "Do you know him?"

I nodded, "He's my friend."

Carson came to the counter putting some snacks and drinks on the counter. "What's up gamer girl?"

I chuckled as I rang up the items. "Nothing much, just getting schmoney." I joked and he paid.

"You up for hanging out tonight? I can order stuff crust pizza." He said as I have him his change.

"Heck yea! I get off work at 9."

We told each other bye and he headed out. Oh how stuffed crust sounded delicious right now. Most importantly I'm getting to hang with him tonight! Ed was now interrogating me about this boy.

"It's so obvious that you like him, you know that right?" He had his head propped on his hand as he leaned on the counter. I felt my cheeks burn a bit. Has Carson noticed? Or his he oblivious? If he did notice has he tried flirting back?

"Do you think he likes me back?" I asked him. Maybe he can notice signs that I can't. Maybe it's like  Dude Intuition that each guy can identify.

"He called you gamer girl, I think he's definitely interested." He smirked before turning around to grab a mop. "Say gamer girl, go clean the ladies restroom." He handed me the mop and I chuckled.

Work was very boring and tiring. I headed into my house to freshen up and change into some shorts and a t-shirt. I pulled my hair in a messy bun and spritzed some perfume on. It was now 9:15pm. I knocked on the wall and after a few seconds I heard a knock back. I headed over to his door and knocked.

We sat on the couch eating stuff crust pepperoni pizza and were figuring out we were going to watch.

"Kate, I'm a movie connoisseur. We should totally watch Nacho Libre." He had a dumb grin plastered on his face while he held a remote in one hand, and pizza in the other.

I chuckled, "Oh? Didn't know you were a connoisseur now."

"Definitely, one of the finest movies to exist."

We were halfway in the movie and I was enjoying myself. I took my peeks at him as well. I snuggled deeper into the blanket he has brought. It was warm and it smelled wonderful, the best part was hearing him laugh next to me. Although it may not seem like much, I was loving every second of being in his presence. It seems like a small deal, but it meant a lot to me to even be invited over. For sure I knew I wasn't annoying or uncomfortable to be around if he was basically inviting me over everyday.

I was lost in thoughts as I was smiling. Luckily this was a comedy and he wouldn't question a grin.

"Not to be weird or anything, but you have a cute smile."

My heart started beating fast. I turned to him as my cheeks started burning. Was he genuine? He seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't make a crude joke.
"O-oh really?" I covered my face with my hands, I wasn't expecting a situation like this. I pulled my face from my hands and looked at him again, his eyes were gorgeous. "Thanks Carson, thats really sweet." I replied smiling, "You have a cute smile as well."

At least with this comment he would know I was interested. Well, I don't really know if it would mean that. It's something though.

I then felt something tough my hand. It was Carson's, he had tried intertwining our hands. I helped out and we were now holding each other's hand. I glanced at him and he had a smile as he was watching the movie. My hand was tingling, my stomach felt like it had butterflies. I was probably smiling like a stupid idiot. Was hand holding too fast? I really hadn't been in a relationship nor understood what things were normal. I think I'm just over thinking.

When the movie was over it was nearing 12am. Was this now considered a date? My thoughts were cut short.

"You got really small hands."

My cheeks were burning once again. I looked at our hands and noticed his were large compared to mine. "They're average you weenier." I chuckled. I leaned against him, he was very warm. "You're pretty cozy." I smiled. I could smell his scent. I for sure tell it was a body spray since this was different from the blanket. I'm no expert, but I knew it was a great scent. Was I being a weirdo? Was this the right thing to do? If I hadn't made it clear, I had no experience with any dating.

We chilled making small talk about his twitch channel. I found out more about him. He was definitely single, he was 20 so not far off from my age, he now in a streamer full time, and he likes anime.

It was now 2am

"I gotta go now, I have work." I mentioned standing up.

"I'll see ya later gamer girl." He grinned.

I hugged him before leaving and went back to my apartment. Once I had shut my door and locked it, I covered my fade with my hands. I was smiling like an idiot. Walking to my room, I got ready for bed. I couldn't stop thinking about how warm he was, his goofy grin, oh how everything was so perfect about him. I sound like a high school girl, but those cheesy moments meant a lot to me. I heard my phone go off a few seconds after plugging it in to its charger.

My smile grew wider, "Gn cutie💕✨" I replied as I crawled into bed. Soon I fell asleep.
