"Oh my god did we fuck?"

"Wha- NO! Nothing like that!" I responded quickly. "We kinda sorta kissed," I averted eye contact, "but I didn't know if that was ok with you cause you were drunk and you did it so suddenly." I was rambling trying to make sure he wasn't going to get mad.

"Kate slow down, I'm not mad about it but more importantly were you ok with it?"

I felt some of the hair that had drifted in my face from looking down being pushed behind my ear. I looked up feeling relieved he wasn't upset. "Y-Yeah I was totally ok with it." I stuttered not knowing how to proceed with the conversation.

"Then maybe we should make things official and ya know... build our Minecraft beds together?"

I chuckled and looked at him, "I would definitely like that."

"In all seriousness though, would you like to go on a real date tomorrow night?"

My cheeks hurt from the amount of smiling I had been doing. My heart was racing fast, I had the butterflies everyone talks about. "Yeah! I should go shower and change though." With that, he walked me the short distance to my apartment. "I'll text you my Discord name. See ya gamer girl!" He hugged me and place a small kiss on my head before heading off.

After I closed my door I held my face in my hands. I was so excited and happy, I couldn't describe the number of feelings I was going through. I went ahead and started to shower while thinking about our small moments. I kissed him, or he kissed me? Either way, I got a kiss! I did a small fist pump to myself. Especially a kiss on my head, oh that's so wholesome. I began freaking out about our date tomorrow. I luckily was prepared with a few nice outfits hopefully for any situation.

After getting out of the shower and tossing some casual clothes on I loaded up discord and Minecraft. I heard his voice in my earbuds. We began a single player world and I joined. From there we focused on building a small home. I gathered up the necessary materials for a bed. I went ahead and dyed my bed yellow and placed it to his plain white bed.

"You're not gonna dye your bed?"

"Nah, you can dye it if you want."

"You gonna trust me to that? Okay!"

I proceeded to dye his bed pink. He soon entered the small house and saw the beds.

"Oh, a yellow bed? Nice choice." He then proceeded to lay in my bed.

"Nope that's my bed. Get to the pink one princess."

"Damn you really did that to me."

"Yep, now you're pretty."

As we continued the game I had died a couple of times due to him leading creepers to me. I once again heard the fatal hiss.

"You're an asshole," I said as my character was blown up and shown the red screen. He laughed as he picked up my items. I spawned back at my bed and headed outside so he could drop me my items. "I'll get you back, just wait." I was now focused on fucking him over. I had a few ideas and decided that I was going to push him in lava.

We progressed further with a few more of my deaths. Finally, we were looking for diamonds. The plan was now in motion as I looked around for some diamond conveniently placed by lava. I found some and called Carson to get it. He went over to the edge and I hit him in lava. He started yelling as his body slowly tried climbing to the edge.

"Kate why!"

"For the creepers."

"Wow, the betrayal."

"Bruh, look who's talking." I chuckled.

We continued for a couple more hours before we both got hungry. We decided to order pizza to my place so we could watch movies together and chill. I quickly fixed up the place and made sure I was looking decent. The pizza had come within 30 minutes and so did Carson.

We sat down and ate as we talked about anything that came to mind.  Eventually, we finished eating and we picked a random movie. I turned off the lights and sat next to him. I pulled the soft blanket over us and I laid against him. I couldn't stop smiling as I soaked up his warmth and scent. I didn't want this feeling to end. This time I planned on making it last much longer by inviting him to spend a night. Hopefully, he could, I don't think he was planning to meet his friends.

Once the movie had ended I sat up and stretched. "That was a good movie," I commented.

"It was cheesy."

"Well, the good kind of cheesy. Say, do you want to spend a night?"

"Like me on your small couch?"

"You're just big, and no not on the couch. On my bed, you weenier."

"Sure, I think I would need to change first though. So I'll go do that real quick."

He quickly left and came back within a few minutes. He was now in an old-looking shirt and sweatpants. I grabbed the blanket and showed him my room.

"Nice room." He commented while I tossed myself on the bed.

"Thanks, turn off the light and come here." I patted next to me and he turned off the light before he plopped down on the bed. 

I pulled the blanket over us and snuggled against him. His arms wrapped around me as he rested his chin on my head.

"So where we going tomorrow?" I spoke softly.

"I was thinking maybe dinner."

"That sounds nice."

"How does Olive Garden sound?"

"Sounds good." I yawned as I cuddled closer.

We laid talking a bit while we both grew sleepy. My eyes were growing heavy and soon I fell asleep.
