~Aaliyah's Pov~

We ended up finding the place, We were heading over to it. "Aaliyah, I'm gonna need you to stay here. Watch over Eugene. I'm gonna go back and get help." Rosita said. I looked at her and nodded. We were walking through a field, It was open but we didn't see walkers.. We were okay for now. "Okay.. but- you should just rest for a little okay? Just for a few minutes. Catch your breath then you can go." i said as we made our way up the steps. "Fine." She said as Eugene sat down leaning against the wall. I walked up to Eugene. "Do you want me to help you out with your knee?" I asked. "You ever done it before.?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, not on a knee though. But i know how." i said. He nodded. "okay." he said. "Alright," i said and got on my knees too. I put my hand on his knee and felt it, or at least the direction i had to turn it in order to get it back to the way it was.

"Okay- um-" I said and pulled out my black bandanna. "Bite down, try not to scream." i said. He took it and put it in his mouth. "Ready?" i asked nodding. He nodded. "on 3," I said. He nodded catching his breath slightly knowing this would hurt. "1,-" I said and snapped it back into place causing him to scream but through the bandanna. He pulled it out of his mouth. "what happened to 3.?!" He asked. "Don't be a baby." I said feeling his knee, it was back in place. "There." I said and took off my flannel. I tied it around his knee tightly since there was nothing else we could use to keep his knee still.

~Night fall~

It was dark out, Rosita left a few hours ago. In that span of those hours they've passed by a couple of times. It was like they were looking for us. I was honestly really tired but i had to stay awake. I was standing, leaning against the wall knowing if i sat down i would probably fall asleep. Eugene was asleep, i had to look after him. Right now he was hurt and he was my responsibility. Rosita hasn't come back and i was kinda worried but i promised her i'd stay here. And Eugene couldn't walk fully yet. He needed to rest.

There was a sudden bark and my eyes shot open. I didn't realize they were closed. The bark made my heart jump and my ears ring. My head was still killing me. We had no water and it's officially been around 2 days. I backed away and pulled out my gun, taking the safety off. I saw flashlights. I nudged Eugene and he shot up too, pulling out his gun once he saw the flashlights. I saw a dog run in and i backed away more, falling since it started barking like crazy. "Dog!" I heard a voice. The dog backed up. "Daryl.?" I asked  recognizing the voice. "Hey." he said coming to me. I put my gun away and he helped me up.

Once i was on my feet, He pulled me in for a hug and i caught my breath against his shoulder. He held me back. "You alright.?" He asked, I nodded closing my eyes. "Yeah." i said softly. He patter my back and we pulled away. I looked over to see Jesus and Aaron. "You two alright?" He asked as we helped Eugene up. I hugged Daryl again, i haven't seen him in a few years to be honest. He rubbed my back a bit. "You hurt.?" He asked once we pulled away. I shook my head. "No." I said softly. He nodded and put his hand on my back.

I looked at them. "We have to go- we need to get out here." i said shaking my head as i looked at them. "The herd that followed us here is on it's way back." Eugene said. "Nah, we saw their tracks. They're gone." Daryl said. No- Daryl that same herd has been by here 2 times. Maybe 3. The same one." I said. He kept looking at me. They all did. "They're looking for us. We have to get away before it gets back." Eugene said looking at them. No one said anything and i looked back outside. We really did need to get out of here.

If they saw the lights, it was over. We're dead. It's like they got with another herd so it was bigger than before. "This wasn't a normal herd." He spoke out. I looked back down and swallowed the lump in my throat. "What do you mean? Aaron asked. "W-when they passed us by. We could hear them. They were-" Eugene said. I walked up to them again and he looked up at me. "-They were whispering to each other." He said scared out of his mind. "You mean they were.. talking..?" Jesus asked not really believing us "I know how it sound. We know okay." I said closing my eyes. "You heard it too." Jesus said looking at me. I nodded looking at him. "Yes. Rosita did too. You have to believe us-" I said looking at them. "We should get them back." Daryl said. Jesus and Aaron picked him up.

Dog started barking and i looked at the herd, this time i was scared. They were back. I backed away a bit and hit Daryl's arm. I looked at the herd scared as they walked over to us. He looked at me then back at the herd. They were still on us. How the hell were they still on us.?

They started coming our direction, "There's no way that's the same herd." Daryl said walking away from me. He looked outside and tried getting a better look at it. "No- no no." Eugene repeated as Aaron and Jesus helped him up. "We'll back track. We'll go around 'em." Daryl said. I kept looking at them as they came. "Move." Daryl said. I kept watching them as they walked. I didn't know what was happening, i was confused and scared. "Liyah.!" Daryl said and pulled my arm, snapping me out of it. "It's not that far. Straight shot to the horses." Jesus said as we made our way out of the barn and over to the horses.
