"I really am sorry I lied." I let out a breath, and Seokjin squeezes my hand, leaning over to gently nuzzle my cheek with his nose, tender and sweet.
"I know," he says softly, and I lean into his touch, shifting so I'm leaning on him, my head resting on his shoulder, and we're quiet for a couple minutes, the TV soft in the background, and finally he shifts to wrap his arm around me, holding me against him, leaning his head against mine.
"You meant what you said earlier?" He asks it quietly, hesitantly, and I nod, closing my eyes as I cuddle against his chest.
"Of course I did."
I can hear his smile in his voice. "Then... we're exclusive now."
I nod, a smile tugging at my lips at his happiness, and he brushes a kiss to my temple, letting out a soft breath.
"I'm so lucky to have you."
I shake my head, pulling away, and he tilts his head at me.
"Seokjin...you could have anyone, and you're still here. I'm pretty damn lucky."
He grins, and I look away, smiling. "On the beach...I never got a chance to say everything I should have."
"It's fine, baby." Seokjin reaches for my hand and I shake my head, meeting his eyes.
"I want to say it now."
He grins, shifting to face me, eyes crinkled as he waits expectantly, and I can't help smiling at his happiness.
"Seokjin...you make me feel like no one else ever has."
He smiles, tilting his head. "Really?"
I nod, my cheeks warm as I smile at him. "The way I feel with you, there's no way to describe it, I'm just so warm and safe and happy."
Seokjin's eyes crinkle and he laces his fingers with mine, squeezing them gently. "I'm glad."
I can't help laughing a little, pulling my hand from his as I grin at him. "You kind of suck at just listening."
"I'm an active listener, what can I say?"
He's grinning against my lips as I kiss him, a light, soft kiss that makes him smile as I pull away. "I should keep talking, I think."
I laugh, shaking my head, and he grins, lacing his fingers with mine. "I won't interrupt this time. Go ahead."
"Now it's embarrassing."
Seokjin smiles slightly, reaching out to brush a thumb over my cheek, and I lean against his hand.
"You know how scary it was for me?" He asks quietly. "We'd never even come close to the subject, and suddenly I was blurting everything out. I thought I'd ruined this forever."
"I'm so sorry."
Seokjin shakes his head. "Stop apologizing, okay? What happened, happened, and look at us now," he says softly, tangling his fingers in my hair, thumb running over my cheekbone. "This is all that matters."
I flush, grinning. "How is it you always know exactly what to say?"
He shrugs, a playful smile pulling at his lips. "It's atalent of mine, I think."
I'm still laughing a bit as his lips meet mine, hand moving to snake around my waist, pulling me close to him as my arms wrap around his neck, this kiss deeper than the others we've shared today, slow and longing and worth a million more pretty statements from his lips.
He tugs gently at my waist, until I'm in his lips, his kisses slowing, and I let out a breath between kisses, loving the way his fingers brush my sides, his hands tangling in my hair, and he finally pulls away, out of breath, and I let out a soft breath, my eyes on his, fingers coming up to trace his features, skimming over his cheeks, my thumb brushing over his bottom lip slowly.
