The Alpha King is My Mate

How?

"Scar?" He said in a deeper voice than I remember.

I ran up to him and gave him a really big hug. I missed him so much. The brother that I presumed dead for the past 3 years, is alive right now, HUGGING ME. I'm in tears.

He kissed the top of my head then I heard an angry growl.

I was ripped away from Nick by Victor.

"MINE!!!" He growled, while his eyes were turning gold. He locked his arms around me. I tried to wiggle myself out but he was too strong.

"Alpha Victor, I can explain my actions." Nick said trying to calm him down.

"Why were you touching what's mine?" Victor said in a dangerously low voice.

"Victor, please. Don't think I would do something like that to you. He's my brother." I told him. He seemed to relax.

I got out of his grip and ran to Nick.

"How the hell are you alive?" I asked sobbing.

"That's a long story. I'll tell you later, after YOU tell ME how you've survived these years." I nodded and Victor led us to the kitchen.

"Ok, explain."

He let out a long sigh and began.

"You do remember the Fay we were attacked, right?" I nodded. "Well, yes, I did die. But I came back as a vampire. Those bastards that killed mom and dad tried to kill me. That bit me and drained me. But they injected their venom by mistake."

"But it takes their venom and blood to turn someone." Victor interrupted.

"That's what confused everyone. I turned without blood. I'm one of the most powerful vampires in the realm. That's why the king, Gabriel, asked me to be his 2nd in Command."

"What about Sofia?" I asked. She's my sister that was older than me but younger than Nick. She was at her boyfriend's house the day vampires killed our parents.

"She's alive. But she's a vampire. After I turned, she came back to the house. I was so thirsty, I couldn't control myself. I drank from her. But once I was in control, I gave her my blood. She never blamed me for doing it because once she woke up, she was the same. She wasn't in control of her own body." I was so shocked. I hit him over the head.

"Ow! What was that for?" He asked.

"For not looking for me. It was completed hell thinking I had no family left in the world. 3 years!! For 3 years I was alone!! And you were alive. You and Sofia." I whispered the last part. He stood up and hugged me really tight.

"I did. But I couldn't let it go public. People would see it as an opportunity to kill me and you. They see as Royal asking for help to find his sister, who will also be a Royal. They would kill you and me." He explained. And he was right.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too, Scar. So so so much." He hugged me tighter.

"Well, your here now. And that's what matters." I say to him smiling.

"So, you're my soon-to-be brother in law." Victor said smiling.

"Only if my sister says so." Nick said smirking.

Victors smile dropped as he looked at me. "I'll think about it." I told him. He had some hope in his eyes but he still looked sad.

"Ok, so, how have you been?" I asked Nicholas.

"Ok, I guess." He said simply.

"Well, how long are you going to stay?"

"Just until tomorrow." He said.

"Can you eat human food or only blood?" I asked. He started laughing, really hard.

"Scar, this is not Twilight. Yes I eat human food, and I don't sparkle." He replied.

"Then what so you want for dinner?"

"Anything is fine." He said.

We went to the movie room while Maria made dinner. I can't wait till I introduce her to my brother.

"So, the Alpha King is your mate?" Victor said smirking.

"Yeah, he is." I said blushing.

"Has he done anything that hurt you?" He asked.

"What?"

"Scar, if he hurts you, or even lays a hand on you, tell me. I'll come get you." He said. I was about to reply but was cut off by a growl.

I looked at the door and saw Victor.

He walked over to me and kissed me. Then he looked at Nick.

"I would never hurt her. So you don't have to worry." He told him.

"You'll have to prove it." He replied.

"Ok, let's watch a movie now." I said changing the subject.

While were watching the movie, I had to ask Nick something.

"Have you found your mate yet?"

"No, but I want to. Seeing everyone else with theirs is painful to watch. You look so happy with Victor and I want that with my mate. I want to make her happy." He said.

"Don't worry, you'll find her sooner or later." I told him.

After the movie, EVIL DEAD, finished, we started walking to the kitchen. While we were walking, I heard Maria's voice singing, Human by Cristina Perry. She's really good at singing.

"Do you smell that?" Nick asked.

"What smell?" I asked back.

"It smells like roses and chocolate." He said.

When we got to the kitchen, Maria was facing the stove. Then she stopped singing. She sniffed the air and turned around. Nick and Maria locked eyes and froze.

"Mate" Maria whispered.

Then Nick roared, "MINE!!"
