Jax

The Doctor Smith showed me the x-ray to my arm, a minor fractur showed which caused a sigh of relief from me. "There's nothing to worry about Jax in about 3 weeks you're will be healed." Dr. Smith told me, before telling me to head out. Right after existing the room I saw the waiting room my eyes landed on Christino, he was a lot shorter than me his chocolate eyes meet mine wetness was being held back clearly. The annoying little imp wanted to cry for me, his concerned caused a strange feeling in my stomach that I couldn't quite put word to. I stood before him before I new it "Don't cry" was all I told him before turning to my mom she had an arched eyebrow, "Mom can Christino come over, he's promised to help me with an essay. "Mom just smiled at my "Not tonight Jax you will need to rest." Another odd feeling went throw my stomach, I looked over at Alberto who was giving me a look, but he didn't say anything. His family stood beside him, his step mother, grandfather and Christino who looked at me with sadness in his eye that look for whatever reason made me angry.

Mom drove us home in silence tell we got to the car, the engine was roaring in the silence, "Jax I'm proud of you." I looked at her questioning "you must have been scared, but you stood up for another individual." She smiled at me. When we got inside mom looked at me "head upstairs and rest I'll make dinner." I looked out the window as a blizzard started to come in, I could hear the roar of the wind it was going to be a cold night. It didn't take me long to drift off to sleep, I had a dream about a male polar bear meeting a small grizzle female cub. At first it seemed like the polar bear saw the cub as a meal but instead he offered her some seal meat and guarded her as she eats. The dream continued as the male polar bear mentored and taught the female grizzle how to hunt seal life, he seemed to mentor her as she hunted deer as well even though it was not his main food source. Then the young female seemed to finally reach maturity and took the male as her first mate, her brought her food to store for the winter as the time came or her to slumber they bed themselves goodbye as he nuzzled her neck and seemed to say goodbye to his unborn cub. Weeks past and at times the female bear would leave to gather other food supplies before, tell finally spring comes and a pizzly come out from the den followed by its mother.

Waking up I saw mom looking at me "Dinner is ready, wash up and come down stairs." Coming down stair I saw my dad sitting at the table mom, had made a spicy beef stew to heat us up. "Did you do something different with the stew today Lucy?" Mom looked up and smiled "Yes darling, I added some pepper flakes to the stew. Veronica gave me the recipe while we where waiting for Jax to get out of the doctors." I could see dad's brow rise at the mention of Alberto's mom, "That family is full of kindness but it's a shame that they disobey the lord and accept that faggot nephew of theirs." I moved my stew up before mom slammed her hand on the table, "Christino is a kind boy Jeff and just because you are a preacher of the lord and you believe as you do but the lords also commanded us to love those different than ourselves." I just held my bowl and watched as they argued over something trivial while Christino did make me feel weird and I was no where nearly as religious as my dad, but I got his point. According to the church Christino was a sinner and unrepentant one at that year. It didn't matter that the knot in my stomach twisted at my dad's hatred. I just kept eating, the soup had cooled some but the knot just kept growing in my stomach then I heard a knock at the front door.

"Who could that be?" Dad went to check the door, "Is something wrong sweet heart?" I looked up at mom seeing the concerned as she glanced toward the window which had ice sheets. "I'm fine mom just thinking about some stuff." I cleaned up then went to see who was at the door as dad had been gone for some time. Dad sat across from a man, he was young looking but his eyes gave away his age. His hair a dark stone gray as if it had once been a darker brown, the man's eyes are stern but also full of kindness, while he wasn't looking at me I could tell he was aware of my presence. Mainly I notice how confident he was, as if he had won some unspoken competition. "Listens here, pagan you need to leave disrupting the peace of my house with your presence is not going to fly!" The pagan as dad called him was unmoved and seemed to smile even more, "O you Abrahamian are so foolish, you're just a pretender you know the truth and as such I have one. Isn't that right Lucy?" Mom walked past me looking at the man, "Ull what are you doing here?" once more he smiled and I could see the defeat in dad's back told me something.

"I am here for Jax, my son who I sired with you before I left to war, the one this Abrahamian has raised in my steed. Did you think I would not become aware of him Lucy? I may off just become aware of him, but he is my son. Those are my eyes, the eyes his brother and sister also have." His eyes seemed to flash as my legs started to shake. His words, while I had never met the man I knew what he said was the truth and yet the words matched something deep inside of my core. Ull stood up "He is my son, Jeffery your have done well in his up bring but is mine." He brushed pass dad and looked at me "Jaxun, meaning Yahweh protects" the way he said Yahweh was with disgust, "but your middle name is Vulder, the name meaning luck, challenge and protection" the way he said my middle name was full of love and affection, "Dardar meaning lance, spear and brave." The pride he had for the name was a bit shocking, but it was there. The last part he whispers in my ear, "Son of Uller God of The Hunt, Skiing, Archery, Fair Competition, Honor, and Winter mountains. I recognize you as my son, and claim you as such, you are now Jaxun Vulder Dardar Ullerson." I felt the knot in my stomach release and strength rushed throw my body I felt the strength that I had never known the winds outside roared in my ears. Looking into Uller eyes I saw his eyes glowing in an artic blue color, "that my boy" the reflection in his eyes showed that my eyes had a blue glow as well.
