I. This has been in my draft for 4 months now lmao I have issues.
Okay just go read.
P.S. This will be in Rafaela's POV
_____
I wave goodbye to my friends as they headed off to another battle, I would've gone with them if I had the option to, but I didn't. I wasn't chosen as one of the participants to fight alongside them. But that is alright, I'm rarely chosen to fight in classic or rank these days.
It's a rare gem for someone to pick me over a better damage dealer, and I understand my circumstances. Everyone prefers to have someone who can deal damage and push better than a healer.
Having tons of free time also as its advantages, for instance, I am able to help people around the streets, like children who hurt themselves as they play around. There is always someone to help.
"Lady Rafaela!" I turn my head to the source of the voice, a brunette boy stood alongside a crying blonde girl, she had scraped her knee and was bleeding. I spot a soccorbell nearby and immediately knew it was just another of those accidents.
I smile softly at them as I bent down next to the girl, she immediately stops crying when she felt my hand rest on her head, "Let me see what happened here."
The boy steps back and lets me do my thing, the girl whimpers as she lets me inspect her wound further, I placed a finger on it, and slowly, it healed. The girl looked at the yellow sparkles in awe, another reason why children let me heal them. They also like to see the magic happen.
"Are you alright now, darling?" I asks, she looks up at me with her no longer tearful eyes and nods. I chuckled and placed a kiss on her forehead before getting up to continue my journey.
"Thank you Lady Rafaela! You really are amazing!" The boy says as a walk further away from them. They then resumed to play their little game, their laughs were music to my ears.
If I were to be honest, I do prefer to heal in peace rather than in a battlefield with pressure.
I walk past an alley and hear sniffling, I immediately stopped on my tracks, it sounded like a child. A child was crying. Yes, I have a weak spot for children.
There, in the corner, was beaten up girl/boy, she/he looked around the age of 4, ragged clothes, bruises and scratches everywhere, and unstoppable sobbing.
I couldn't bear watch this child be miserable, I had to do something.
The child stopped crying when she/he saw me approach him/her, I couldn't even utter a word before he/she scrambled away in fear, it didn't take long before he/she realized I had her/him cornered against the wall.
Nevertheless, I didn't want to scare him/her, so I kept my distance.
"It's alright, I'm not here to hurt you." I say with a smile, a attempted to take one step forward but the child simply flinched and pressed herself/himself harder against the well.
You poor thing, who knows what you've been through to make you get this jumpy.
"I just want to help you." I say, but he/she stays quiet. I then notice how skinny he/she was. Of course, she/he must be hungry and thirsty.
"Alright, I'll get you something to eat and drink, you stay here, alright?" The child doesn't say anything, but I'lll take that as a yes. I didn't want to force her/him to trust me that quickly.
