"Who even cares? Its just Jess." I could see Anna's frustrated facial expression in my head as I checked the wires behind her bedroom light.

"This is different this time, it was like, really dangerous, bad." I didn't know how to explain the cold death feeling. It kept creeping around in the back of my mind.

"You are serious,  aren't you?" I looked down at her and nodded. "Well shit. So whatcha gonna do now?"

"I don't know," I shrugged.

"I have a plan," and then she talked.

After doing my English homework, cooking tea for my mum and Aunty, trying to have a conversation with mum as she stared off into her imaginery world where she spent almost all her life now, I folded myself up on the couch.

I knew this was a bad plan. It didn't feel right, but then again, what was the worst that could happen?

I pulled a spare blanket up and over me as I snuggled into the lounge,  my new favourite lazy place.

I sighed as I fell into a deep sleep, about soul eating devil monsters that fed on the innocent and clueless.

My phone vibrated from in my pocket as I took the last bite of my too - greasy burger. Pulling it out, I see I have a message from the Guild. My next target.

I smile, as I pulled on my jacket on and headed to the door, punching the address into my phones gps.

I pulled into the gas station, filled up with petrol, and started off towards the address. It was time for the next hunt.

Scanning the area, I noticed there was 3 different energys in the house, and straight away I knew this was the right house, but it was unusual. Three different energys...normally they lived by themselves.  The first energy was a dark purple, complete human female. The second was dark purple with streaks of bright blue,  a human, with vampire burn, she was deeply scarred and probably didn't function very well. The last one was bright blue with specks of purple, it wasn't complete vampire, but it wasn't complete human either.

How could such a thing exist? I sighed as I rolled up my darkly tinted window and opened my glove box. I pulled out my little hand gun with half wooden, half silver bullets. Silver to burn, wooden to kill.

I slid the gun into the back to pants and put my top down over the handle. I then took my phone and put it in my pocket. I grabbed an old clip and slid it into my pocket. You never knew when you were going to need it.

I slowly got out the car and quietly shut the door. I jumped over the side gate so I was in the back garden and then I went to the back door. After listening in for a few seconds, I put the clip in the door lock and wiggle it, the door unlocks and I slowly opened it.

All my senses were alert, more alert than any normal hunt, as I walked into the house. I walked into a kitchen, bright orange table cloth, green, yellow and orange flowers on the table. 4 lime green chairs sat around the small round table. Green and orange seemed to be the theme. On the table was a homework book. I walked over a flipped the the book to the front cover.

"Ali Scarlett Jones
English
HG; 10.03"

I shut the book over and continued through the house, looking for the disgusting creature I was sent to kill, when I stubbled along to a photo stuck on the wall. It was a girl and an older woman. The woman seemed worried, out of it, the little girl was slightly in front of the woman, protectively. I took the picture of the wall and slid it in my pocket.

I walked through the hallway until I got to the lounge room, where I stopped. There was a girl laying across the couch. She was beautiful. But that's not what stopped me. She had a "angel" above her head protecting her.

A vampire angel.

She was the half human, half vampire.
