*Jungkook's P.O.V*

I stepped out of the class, dispersing from the crowd of people and heading towards the main doors.

"Jungkook," I felt a small hand tug at the back of my blazer. Ara?

I turned around and examined her features, making sure she's okay. Concern was written all over her face so I'm guessing she was curious about me.

"What happened? Are you okay?"  She grabbed the sides of my face and pulled me down to her level.

Her scent filled my nose and my eyes went wide. I could already feel my ears getting red from the contact.

It's too much.

"A-Ara, I'm okay," I quickly backed away from her. Her hands were so warm and slim...

"And please, don't do that to someone you barely know," I looked at the ground, attempting to hide my flustered face.

This is absolutely embarrassing.

"Oh, I'm sorry... but Jungkook, your wounds, they're bleeding," she pointed to my forehead and I rose a finger to my head to check. Sure enough she was right. I didn't have enough
time to clean them this morning before I left.

"It's nothing."

"Like hell it is!" She grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a hallway with absolutely no people around. What is she doing?

She took her blazer off making me look away instantly.

"A-Ara? What is this?"

"Calm down, you big baby. Hoseok packed some disinfectant wipes and bandages in my backpack."

"Ara, I'm seriously fine. You don't need to-"

"Can you be quiet?" I shut my mouth immediately. If she's anything like Hoseok,  she won't take no for an answer. Hoseok never backed down and would always stop to help us when we were in need.

It's somewhat comforting.

"Geez, Jungkook. You need to take care of yourself. Are you always getting into fights like this?" My eyes met hers as she waited for reply.

"Not exactly... how do you know it was a fight?"

"Would you honestly expect me to believe that you walked into a pole or something? This is a lot of damage for something as small as tripping or running into something," I sighed at her answer. She's Hoseok's sister alright.

"All done!" She exclaimed. "Now let's get out of here," she smiled brightly at me. This girl is something special and I like that about her.

"I'm walking you home," I stated. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Should I have been more settle with that?

"It's fine, Jungkook. I can walk home by my-"

"I wasn't asking," I grabbed her hand and led her out of the school. She's on my watch so it's either I have her back as she goes home, or I'm by her side.

"Why are you doing this? You don't have too."

"I know, but isn't this what friends do for each other?" I gave her a light smile. Her face lit up at my words.

"Friends? We're friends?"

"Sure? I mean I did save you yesterday, so you owe me," I bumped her hip lightly.

"I guess I do," she smiled to herself.

I'm not used to having friends... this is so weird. I barely even know the girl. What if I can't protect her? What will she do when Hoseok leaves?
