He Saved Me

Everything was a blur, he pushed me out of the way from getting hit by a car. He picked me up and carried me to the sidewalk. He looked into my eyes and said, "are you going to be okay?" I replied, "yes I'm fine." He set me on my feet. I thought to myself, "I'm going to remember this day for the rest of my life. I think he is the one for me." He asked her suddenly, "Are you free on friday night? She responded, "only if you tell me what your name is?" He smiled and said, "My name is Rick Anderson." I replied, "where would you like to meet me at?" He asked, "how about at Mc Gregory's at 6:30pm." I replied, "sounds good to me."  Both of us walked away and were already eager for our first date on Friday night. 

When Friday came around, I was so nervous that my hands were shaking constantly. His blue eyes were so gorgeous, I just couldn't stop thinking about him. I hope I wouldn't make a fool of myself in front of him. I hope after tonight he would want to see me again.     

He thought she looked beautiful in that pink dress, this was the day he saved her from being hit by a car. The driver came flying around the corner going sixty miles an hour. The driver didn't even stop to see if they were okay. 

He thought to himself, "I will someday have to tell her that I am a vampire. Will she still like me? I hope so or I'll won't be able to live without her in my life. I know I already love her; she is my damsel in distress. I will love her for the rest of eternity even if she won't love me back."

She arrived at Mc Gregory's fifteen minutes before the actual date was set for. When she walked in the front door she saw him sitting on the bench. She walked over to him and said, "hello Rick Anderson." He replied, "hello my lovely lady."

A waiter approached them and asked, "are you two ready for a table?" Together they replied, "yes." The waiter led them to a booth. He smiled at them both thinking those two were on a date. The waiter handed them both Menu's and walked away.

A few minutes later the waiter came back and asked," are you two ready to order?" Again they both said yes together. She went first and said, "I'll have the bowl of spaghetti and a small sprite." Then he said, "I'll have the twelve once steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and a glass of water. Then the waiter walked away.

He asked her, "did you get hurt at all on wednesday. She replied, "no, I just scraped my knees thats all. He said, "Some people are crazy driver's, I hope the cops arrest that driver. He could actually kill someone the next time. I'm glad you're okay." She said, "I'm glad you're okay too and that you were there to save me. "

The waiter suddenly showed up with the drinks and disappeared again. Then they started to continue their conversation again. He blurted out suddenly, " I will always be there to save you no matter what." She looked at him for a while before saying, "that's the most romantic I have ever heard." She knew from that moment he was a keeper. 

Twenty minutes later, the waiter came with their food. They ate their food slowly. He asked her, "how did you get here?" I walked here this place is twenty blocks from my apartment." He said, "after we are done I can give you a ride to your apartment, if you like." She replied, "that would be nice." 

It was an half an hour later that they were done eating. She started to take out her wallet from her purse, when he said, "I'll pay for it." She smiled and then she definitely knew he was the one for her. He walked up to the desk and paid the bill. They walked a block to where his car was parked, he opened the door for her, then closed it after she got in. He got into the driver's seat and took off.

He asked her, "where do you live?'' She replied, " in the South Haven development. He replied, "oh okay, I know where that is at." It was five minutes later, when they arrived there. He parked in the parking lot and opened her door for her again. He walked her to the front entrance.  

Suddenly he cupped her face in his hands and leaned in for a kiss. At the moment they kissed a she shivered a little. She kissed him back. He pulled back and asked, "are you free tomorrow?" She replied, "what do you have in mind."
