Angela said, "I'm going to go to the supermarket to get some things, okay?" Rick replied, "okay honey, I'll be waiting here for you." She smiled at him, before walking out the door.
It took her fifteen minutes to get to the Supermarket. She got apples, oranges, eggs, a half gallon of orange juice, and a box of tampons. She went to the check out counter. Ten minutes later she left the supermarket and started heading home.
As she was nearing the curve a semi swung around the corner. She turned and before she could let out a scream; she was hit and went unconscious. The semi kept on going, he was drunk and high on drugs. The witnesses ran over to where she was, they dialed 911. The woman said, "We need a ambulance, this woman was just hit by a semi." The person said, "Is she breathing?" The woman checked and replied, "Hardly, but she is." The person replied, "A ambulance should be there in a few minutes."
A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived. The paramedics got out and strapped her to the bed. They put her in the back of the ambulance and with the sirens on, they raced her to the hospital.
