In the London event hall more than a hundred people fill a room waiting to hear celebrities speak during a conference. Tonight's topic is how do you overcome a loss. Included in that list of celebrity speakers is Anthony... and among that hundred people crowd is Abella. She's not necessarily here to see the speakers, but more so to perform. Neither know that the other person is here.
"This is my last speaking obligation, right?" Anthony asks pointing at his manager, James.
"It's your last," he confirms. "You still have media obligations though. A couple sit down interviews with Sky Sports and commercials," he says making Anthony shake his head. "Hey, it's apart of the job."
"How many different ways can I talk about losing? Next I'll be turning into a motivational speaker." Anthony can admit he's a little moody today.
He doesn't feel like doing this. He rather be in the gym working on his craft, not talking about it. What happened last night with Abella also plays a part, especially knowing he has to go to her concert tomorrow. A part of him wants to give his ticket away and let his sister and niece go with someone else.
Anthony stands behind a door waiting to be announced by the host. He hands his suit jacket over to his cousin, Gbenga, to hold. He takes in a deep breath before putting a smile on his face.
"Let's give a warm welcome to former British unified heavyweight world champion, Anthony Joshua," the host says before all the people in the room applaud. That former hits different.
As soon as Anthony's announced people clap except for one person... Abella. Instead she rolls her eyes. Can she get one day without seeing him or hearing his name? She can't catch a break.
He walks in through a side door as all eyes are on him including Abella..
