Like usual Anthony's up early, this time to pick up his son from his mother. When he gets to Natalie's building he calls her to let her know he's here. It's not quite the same old setup where he has someone else pickup his son for him, but she doesn't ask him to come up to her flat anymore.
When he sees Natalie coming out of the building with their son, he gets out of the car. When he sees Natalie's boyfriend walk out behind them he gives him a simple head nod. The only reason the two men would ever need to talk is if there is an issue about Joseph, other than that he means nothing to Anthony.
Anthony greets both his son and Natalie before opening the backseat door letting Joseph climb into the car to get in his car seat. "Sunday?" Anthony asks Natalie while helping Joseph with the straps despite him always arguing I got it anytime he gets in the car.
"Sunday," Natalie states simply. He can tell she's being standoffish because her boyfriend's standing by watching. Otherwise, Anthony feels like she would be throwing slick remarks and questioning him about the pictures she saw of him in Jamaica with Abella.
Anthony steps back allowing for Natalie to say her goodbyes then shuts the backseat door getting into the driver's seat. "My boy! You ready?" Anthony asks looking at his son in the rear view mirror. Like always Joseph yells an enthusiastic yeah. Kids can get excited about anything because they're only going home.
He plays a song then pulls off towards home. Halfway through the car ride Anthony decides to ask his son, "What do you think about your mum's boyfriend?"
Anthony turns slightly to see Joseph shrug his shoulders nonchalantly. He can tell his son doesn't want to be bothered while watching his show.
"What do you call him?"
"Anthony. He has the same name as you," Joseph informs him like he doesn't already know.
