"Dudee im sssserious" Jackson slurred placing his seventh empty soju glass on the table firmly. His action so strong, it made the table shake.

Ji-soo had joined his best friends for drinks that evening.

His friends, Jackson and Jinyoung, had been next to Ji-soo's side through everything. Something he is unspeakably thankful for. He would often tell himself that without the two of them, he wouldn't be the man he is now.

"The single lifee just isnt as good assss it sssounds" Ji-soo and Jinyoung shook their heads at the drunk man.

"Nah bro- im good" Jinyoung stated picking up a piece of meat off the self cooker in the centre of the table.

Ji-soo laughed at his blunt statement. "Im with him on this one Jackson..."

"Im telling you now it will sort allll offff your problems! Jinyoung is fineee, he only neeeeds himself- you need support 24/7 and we dont wanna keeep picking up the pieces" Jackson blurted out. His words coming out as fast as gunfire.

"Well when it goes wrong wont you have to pick up the pieces anyway?" Ji-soo snapped, he'd taken offence to Jackson saying he was high maintenance.

Jinyoung, sensing the overload of testosterone and frustration radiating off Ji-soo's tipsy aura, stepped in.

"Com'on jackson your drunk- lets get you home dude." At that exact moment Jackson's head fell hard onto the table knocking his fork onto the floor.

Mumbling he gave into Jinyoung's supportive hands that held him up. Ji-soo payed quickly before apologising for the mess created by Jackson.

Ji-soo was greeted outside by Jinyoung whom had called a taxi. "Im going to make sure he gets home alright. Don't take what he said seriously, you know how he gets"

Ji-soo nodded and turned down Jinyoungs offer of a lift to his apartment.

He watched as he stuffed Jackson into the back of the small cab. Driving off, leaving Ji-soo in the freshly moist air from the previous downpour.

Following his same previous route home, he arrived quicker home then expected. Perhaps it was the rain.

He walked into his apartments lobby and towards the elevator, searching for his keys as he did so.

"WHO IS SHE!"

From behind him a scream brought him from his movements and drawing him to this argument taking places meters from him.

"I told you to be quiet, we will discuss this when we get back upstairs" the male next to her hushed. His grip on her arm so tight Ji-soo could see the girls skin bulging out from either side of his hand.

It looked...painful.

"YAH, tell me! DID SHE LOOK LIKE ME TOO!" She screamed, tears streaming from her eyes. Ji-soo couldnt tell of it was from the argument or the pain she was in.

The girls hair was long and dark, skin pale and wispy bangs hung from her head and over her forehead.

"I said SHUT UP" the male finally snapped. His grip on her arm tightening, if thats even possible. The female let out a light whelp in pain- but it seemed to shut her up.

Realising how wrong it was that he was watching, Ji-soo thought best he take the stairs.

Perhaps he should of said something.
But it wasn't his place.
