Minjeong's POV

I pushed the door opened, as I quickly ran to the changing room, changing into my uniform in a rush.

I quickly stood behind the counter, as my coworker spoke, "You're a bit late today. Did anything happened?"

"No,"

"Then?"

"I was just late," I said to him.

"Oh, okay."

"Yeonjun-ah, can you lend me the tissue box?", I told him, as he handed it to me right away. "Thanks,"

He just smiled at me, nodding, as we both continued with our work. Yeonjun is my coworker, which is also my schoolmate, it's just that he's not in my class.

He's a smartass kid so he wouldn't be in the same class with me. Choi Yeonjun is my best friend, my sidekick since forever, someone that I could lean on everytime I feel helpless.

Of course, we're best friends and neighbours, but these past years my heart seems to be greedy. I'm developing feelings for him. I am pretty good at hiding it so he didn't know a thing about me having a crush on him.

I've never thought of confessing, since I knew he couldn't be having a thing for me too. So I've been keeping it a secret for almost two years now. These 10 years of knowing him are probably the most enjoyable moments of my life.

I turned my head to look at him who's taking a customer order who had just walked in. He politely handed the customer her change, in which she gave him a smile and Yeonjun immediately get started with preparing her order.

All of a sudden, he suddenly turned his head towards my direction, as my eyes slightly widened at him.

"What?", he asked, as I quickly averted my gaze from him.

"N-nothing,"

"I'm too handsome, I know.", he smiled cockily.

You are, bitch.

"No, I was just wondering how can a person be so ugly. That's all,"

"Pft," he snickered, shaking his head, before focusing back on his customer.

And just then, a guy walked into the restaurant, as he stood in front of my counter.

"What do you want?", I asked without even giving him a smile.

"Um, I'll have combo set A.", he said, giving me an awkward smile.

"That will be 4400won,"

"There you go," he handed me the exact amount of cash, smiling brightly. "I'm sorry, but have we met before?"

"No and here's your order," I said, putting a tray with fries, hotdog, and a coke in it.

"I'm pretty sure I've seen you somewhere. Where was it?", he mumbled to himself.

"Egg-faced guy, we've never met each other before. And that's a sure thing. Also since you've got your order, can you please move? There's a lot of people lining up behind you,"

"Oh, I'm sorry.", he apologized and quickly left to take a seat a few feets away from the counter.

He didn't even know that I lied to him about people lining up behind him when there's no single soul behind him.

Then it's his fault for being dumb.

"Do you know him?"

I turned to my right, and Yeonjun was standing next to me, looking at me while eating an ice cream.
