Namjoon's POV

I heard Yeonjun telling her to go home by herself, so I decided to walk her home, secretly, and she is waiting for the bus.

As a bus pulled over, she immediately got into the bus, but from afar, I could see her rummaging through her black backpack.

And before she knew it, people started lining up behind her, as she moved aside to make way for them.

I made my way towards the bus, and put my fares into the small box next to the bus driver.

"Fares for two,"

I walked pass her, heading to the seat next to the window. Not long after, she ran towards me, standing next to me.

I looked up to her, as I stood up, making way for her to get into the window seat, as the bus accelerates.

"Yo, egg-faced dude.", she called out, as I just hummed in response.

"Uh, thanks for helping back there.", she said.

I smiled at her, saying that it was not that much of a help compared to their kindness sharing their food with me.

She just gave me a slight smile, before shifting her attention to the surrounding, looking out to the window.

I took my earphone out of my left ear, as I stuffed it into her right one, making she turned her head towards me, smiling.

"Bus rides are much better with music,"

She grinned slightly, before looking back out to the window, and I noticed she started dozing off, her eyelids getting heavier.

Her head suddenly leaned towards the window, as I acted fast, slamming my left hand on the window next to her head, as her head landed on the back of my hand.

I looked down to her, and she is already fast asleep, as I stared at her flawlessly beautiful angelic face.

Letting her fall to her deep slumber, I fished out my phone, dialing Yeonjun's number, as I waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Yeonjun-ah, where does your friend live?", I asked, looking at the sleeping girl next to me.

"Who? Minjeong? Jeon Minjeong?"

So I wasn't wrong to call her Jeon that day.

"Kim Namjoon,"

"Ah, yes. Jeon Minjeong," I said.

"So she's with you?", he asked.

"Yeah, and now we're on a bus, heading home.", I said, sparing a quick glance at her.

"Great, just get off at the first stop. She lives in the same building as me. You remember my place, right?"

"Yes,"

"Her apartment is just right next to mine," he said, as I nodded, thanking him for the very useful information.

"Alright, thanks."

"No problem, bro. Is she sleeping though?"

"Uh, yeah she is. Why are you asking?", I asked as Yeonjun laughed at the other line.

"Goodluck with waking her up,"

I ended the call, and play my paused music earlier.

As soon as the third song ended, the bus stopped in front of a familiar apartment building, as I gently shook her arm, trying to wake her up.

She didn't wake up, nor move a muscle, as I looked at her in confusion. I shook her arm a bit harder this time, but she is still not moving an inch.

So this is what Yeonjun meant by goodluck waking her up?

"This won't do,"

I fished out my phone again, dialing Yeonjun's number again as I gently put her head on my shoulder.

"Hello?"

"Yeonjun-ah, why isn't she waking up?", I asked worriedly, putting my finger under her nose to check if she is still breathing.

"Lean in for a kiss,"

"W-what?"

"Try to kiss her. I mean, you don't have to actually kiss her. Like just lean in," he said.

"That...would wake her up?", I asked, unsure of the idea Yeonjun suggested.

"She has a spidey sense when a guy is trying to mess with her in her sleep. Try it, Namjoon. Trust me," he said.

"Um, okay. Thanks,"

"Also, lean away immediately when she opens her eyes unless you want to get knocked out.", he reminded again with a laughter in the end.

"Alright,"

Ending the phone call with Yeonjun, I put my phone back into my pocket, slowly taking out my earphone from her ear.

I put my earphones into my bag, as I shifted my position into facing her, and slowly leaned in towards her lips.

When our lips are just an inch apart, her eyes fluttered opened, as I quickly lean away.

That's just a weird way to wake someone up.

"Are we there yet?", she asked, yawning.

"Yes," I said, as she nodded. "Let's get off here," she smiled as I stood up, letting her lead the way out of the bus.

"Thank you," she thanked the bus driver, and hopped out of the bus, landing smoothly onto the ground.

She made her way towards the entrance, as I trailed behind her, but then she suddenly turned around, eyeing me confusedly.

"Why aren't you leaving?", she asked.

"I'll leave when I get you home safely," I said, smiling awkwardly.

"Okay. Do you live in this neighbourhood too?", she asked, making her way towards an elevator.

We both get into the elevator, and waited for it to get to some particular floor. The doors slided opened, as she walked out of the small closed up space, and stood in front of a door labelled '248'.

She turned around, looking at me suspiciously. "Did you follow me or what?", she asked.

"Uh, Yeonjun asked me to walk you home.", I made up, and luckily she believed it.

"No wonder. I find it weird too when he casually told me to go home by myself. Anyway, thank you for the bus and everything. Bye," she smiled, waving her hand at me, before turning back to face her front door.

"W-wait!"

She turned her head to me, looking at me with anticipation. "Uh, my name is Kim Namjoon. So maybe you can stop calling me egg-faced guy now,"

"I know," she said. "But I prefer egg-faced guy. So bye, egg-faced guy!", she beamed, waving brightly at me and stormed into her apartment.

I laughed at her behaviour, shaking my head at her hidden bright side. I looked up to her door, smiling to myself.

"And I know your name is Jeon Minjeong.", I muttered to myself, and turned around to walk away from her place.

"But I'd like to change it to Kim Minjeong someday,"
