Y/N's POV
I can't sleep... It always happens to me... Either because of stressing about studies or because it feels lonely without anyone...
I literally have no one with me... My mom's really sick and I have to work double part time jobs to gain money for her treatment...
Even though I know that won't work... I still keep hope...
Jackson is a very close friend of mine but he always stays 'busy' because of his stuff at home.... I don't know what's the meaning of that though....
I got off my bed and went towards the balcony...
I looked down and saw a figure...
It was Jungkook...
I was quite surprised by seeing him there...
So I went down the stairs and then out in the lawn where Jungkook was standing.
I stood beside him...
Y/N: To be honest, I didn't expect you to be here at this hour.
No response
Y/N: Can I ask you something?
He just nodded.
Y/N: Why did you bring me here? I don't even know you, then why?? If you say that it's because I saw you while you were killing that person then you could've just killed me... But you didn't...
Jungkook's POV
No one ever dared to talk to me like this except for some like Jimin and Taehyung...
Well it wasn't exactly talking... More like a one-sided talk...
She was asking so many questions to me that I couldn't keep up... But the one which had hit me hard was the last one...
"Why didn't I kill her there?"
It's because she reminds me of her... My sister... Who died because my dad's enemies killed her...
She was the dearest person to me...
Her death is the cause of my change.
*Flashback to 6 years ago*
Jungkook: Noona! Why are we hiding? Who are these people??
Jungkook's sister: Jungkook-ah... They have come to kill us.... But Don't worry... I won't let them kill you.. OK?
Jungkook: But Noona! What about you!?
Jungkook's sister: Jungkook-ah! Everything's fine! You'll be safe... Even... If I'm not.... *sadly*
Tears started coming out of my eyes...
Jungkook: Noona..... *crying*
Jungkook's sister: Jungkook,stay here! And don't move, ok?
My sister went in front of those guys and that's when...... I heard a gunshot....
*Flashback ended*
I shutted my eyes after thinking of what happened... My sister was more than just a sister to me.... She was my mother, my father, my best friend, my everything.... Losing her impacted me a lot...
Y/N's POV
I looked at Jungkook after not getting any response...
His eyes were shut.... He was shivering.... As if a very bad memory came back in his mind...
Seeing someone in this kind of pain reminds me of myself...
How? Well.... I don't know. It just does
I just can't bear it. It reminds me of how pathetic I am, how weak and stupid I am.
I can't stand it anymore...
Y/N: Jungkook? Jungkook!
He snapped out of his world and came back to reality.
Jungkook: Oh..... I-I....
Y/N: I'm sorry....
Jungkook looked at me
Jungkook: For what?
Y/N: For asking you those questions.... I think you are too uncomfortable to answer those... So don't worry I won't ask you any questions and I wouldn't even think of bothering you like this... I'm sorry...
Jungkook kept silent...
Y/N: But...
Jungkook glanced at me.
Y/N: If it is ok.... You can tell me what happened that makes you so uncomfortable about this. I'm pretty good at keeping secrets, you know?
Jungkook's POV
This girl...
I don't regret bringing her here anymore.
She is really like my sister....
I guess.... She may be able to change me back. And if that happens...
For the first time in my life I'll be happy....
Y/N's POV
Y/N: I think I should go now....
I turned around and went back....
I looked back at Jungkook and he was still facing the other side.....
Y/N: BTW, don't forget the offer I gave. I'm always open.
I smiled even though he couldn't see it.
But I am sure that he knew it.
I went inside and suddenly a huge growl was heard from my tummy.
So I went towards the refrigerator and started searching for something to eat....
I saw a chocolate bar and picked it up....
I closed the door of the refrigerator and my eyes widened...
Jungkook was standing right there!! Looking all ghost like!!!
Y/N: You scared the hell out of me!!
Jungkook: This is my house and that's my refrigerator....
Y/N: But I'm hungry....
Suddenly my stomach growled really loudly and I gave an awkward laugh
Jungkook facepalmed himself
Jungkook: This is the only time I'm letting you eat... Next time, ask one of us before taking anything...
I nodded my head really fast and then he went away...
God.... I guess I was wrong! It is going to be hard staying here....
Oh well! I'm gonna enjoy my chocolate for now!
