The Gate of Oblivion, Eastern Anotia
The Guardians of the Gate guarded motionlessly in front of the Gate of Oblivion, something they had always been doing for countless millenniums.
Not far away from them, stood a single figure shrouded in darkness.
It was the Dark Phantom.
Paladin, the leader of the Guardians of the Gate, noticed something.
~Elemental Combo ※ Rainbow Strike~
A multitude of auras, all of various colours to symbolise the different elements, shot out of the Guardians, and directed themselves towards the figure in a colourful burst.
Dark Phantom simply raised his finger:
~Prepare to die free of any sins~
~Spell of Darkness ※ Death Charge~
The two magic collided in mid-air, and the rainbow aura was immediately overwhelmed.
'Retreat!' Exclaimed Paladin to the rest of the Guardians, as the spell rushed towards them.
~Holy Light ※ Goddess' Blessings~
A shield, composed of light, appeared in front of the Guardians, and the Death Charge slammed into the barrier, breaking it in a instant.
~Holy Light ※ Dimensional Teleport~
But it was too late for Dark Phantom.
In a flash of blinding silver light, the Guardians disappeared, and all that remains is a faint silver symbol carved into the ground.
'Magical Engravings,' murmured Dark Phantom, 'I have underestimated them.'
'Nevermind,' He continued after some contemplation, 'The purpose had been achieved, the Gate of Oblivion will be opened. '
He raised his hand, and the air shimmered, merging themselves together to form a portal.
~Let Death roam this land~
