Aatrox snapped out of the meditation, feeling refreshed. All around him, were trees and bushes with a lush shade of green.
A ripple emanated across the calm surface of the pond, alerting Aatrox, who glanced at the surface. The ripple travelled across the water calmly, eventually dissipating. It did not come again.
Dismissing the idea, Aatrox began to take flight. His powerful wings easily lifted him up, as he soared above the treeline once more, continuing his futile search.
At that very moment, a rocky head popped out of the pond, glanced around, and stealthily swam towards land. Upon reaching the edge, it pulled itself out of the water and stood still, while a stone layer gradually covered its body.
Malphite strained his neck upwards towards the direction Aatrox flew off, and strided as silently as he can into the forest, leaving a trail of startled creatures and bent trees at his wake... You can't blame him really...
Meanwhile, Aatrox felt a strange presence for a split second, but then the feeling faded. He glanced back at the part of the forest where he had previously been. Something was on his mind.
Banishing his idea, Aatrox decided there's nothing worthwhile to be done in the spooky forest. He quickened his pace and rushed towards the edge of the forest, in order to complete the task he had been set.
An eventful encounter is underway...
