Chapter 6

Sam's POV

He lead me out of the door and we walked through the empty corridor when suddenly he stopped and made me bumped to his back. "Ouch! Can you give me a warning or something?" I hissed. He apologised and I realised that we we were in front of a huge picture of a family. " Who are they?" I asked.

" I think that they were the previous owners of this house. We came here barely a week ago and I don't think my father even care to know this family."

" What! Don't say that he ki-"

"No, he didn't kill them. Maybe they are in a vacation or something. We just 'borrow' their house for a moment." He explained and that relieved me. The idea of murdering an entire family was a nightmare.

" So... Why are we stopping here? I asked. Without answering he drew a smiley face on the surface of the picture and it suddenly glowed and disappeared.
"What the heck!" I almost shouted. " Shhhh...you don't want my father to notice us,do you?" He said with an annoyed face. "Of course not. What happened to the picture?"

"I think we are 'borrowing' a sorcerer's house. I found it yesterday. You know, I was just walking around and saw this picture."

"So, you are a type of person who like to randomly draw a smiley face on a picture?"

"Whaaat?? No! I found a note about it in the library. Maybe they always forget about it." He said and I chuckled when he started to blush.

"One more thing. Stop using the word borrow to cover you and your father's criminal. If my parents make a report about me,being missing, do you want to say that you're just borrowing me?"

" What's the matter if I'm borrowing you? I like your company,though." He said that made me blushed. "And why are you blushing? Wait a minute...do you think that I have feelings for you? Are you kidding me?" By then, I was very angry but the bright light that came from the outside of the tunnel saved him from being smack in the face. I was surprised that I didn't even realise that we had already went in through the hole where the picture was and now we were free.No, I was free!

The place was like the woods in the 'Into The Woods' movie. The trees there were big and shady and there was a cliff in front of us. However, the tunnel where we came from had disappeared.

"Now,here we are. Cool,right?" He said proudly.

"Yeah,yeah,whatever. So, where are we?" I asked.

"Actuallllllyyyy-"

"Wait,please don't say that you have no idea where we are!"

"You can't blame me! This is my first time going too far into the tunnel."

"What do you mea- ,ughhh forget about it. I think I can fly us to my house,then."

"Are you sure? Don't you think I'm heavy for you?"

"Nah. You look like a skeleton."(which is not true at all. He is way taller than me)
