"I invented an absorbing power vest. I wore it when Carter was distracting him. It absorbed his power when he tried to attack us. That vest really gave me weird vibes after that so I try to destroy it but it was too powerful. I turned it into a ring to make it smaller but I was wrong, it didn't make it any less stronger." "So you wore it?!" Flora shouted incredulously. "Yea...but it's absorbing power was gone, it was just the spirit that remained ." William continued but soon was attacked by Flora. "You idiot! You-almost-killed-my-daughter!" She said punching him between every words. "Ow, stop it! It was an accident okay! I'm sorry!" William pleaded and soon turned to his wife watching her carefully. "I'm so sorry, Lory. I swear I didn't mean to wear it. I was examining it and somehow I fell and next thing I know it was on my finger. Please, believe me..." He pleaded, now kneeling in front of her.
Loria just stared at him trying to hold her tears but nothing was said. "I understand, maybe I don't deserve your forgiveness. I sh-" before he could finish the sentence he suddenly was embraced by her. Loria was already sobbing uncontrollably on his shoulder mumbling something. On the other hand, William was perplexed and couldn't even utter a word. He didn't expect such thing but he really that touch. It had been years since he last talk to her like they used to, let alone hug her. He started to cry and hugged her as if that would be their last hug.
"How could you say that! Of course I'll forgive you. Why do you think I haven't ask for divorce, many years ago?" She finally said after gaining her composure.
"Okay now lovebirds, did you forget about your son,here?" Sam said annoyed with the drama. (You see she's not 'that type of girl.') Andy was standing beside her expressionless. "Yes, who am I to you? You left me with him, mother! Why didn't I realise that sooner? And you!" He said pointing at his father " I know you were not you and all that but I haven't forgotten the fact that you killed someone. Did you remember him? Did you remember Philip, father?!"" He asked in a menacing voice. "You used him to test your stupid invention and forced me to leave him when you realised he was motionless. We were only 7! DID YOU REMEMBER THAT?!" He bellowed.Sam flinched by the sudden anger and then she remembered...
" I just wanted to prove you and everyone that I'm not like my father and I just don't want to lost one more friend.."
She was confused when he said that but now the puzzle had found it's pieces.
