Tony's POV
After the funeral everyone said their prayers and saw the main engineer's burial. We put flowers, letters, and crosses. I was about to say my speech. I got elected to say the speech hours after Dave died. I got up on the little stage and fixed my mic. "Dave Quanders was a great man, a father figure, a blessing, and mostly the founder of our house of engineers. He never really called it an engineering school because he said it sounded blunt. He wanted something better. A home he could go to. So he called it 'The House Of Engineers'. He was pure and very surprising. It's very sad to see someone so kind hearted slip away from life. Dave Quanders, rest in piece." I finished and suddenly heard people clapping. A single tear fell from my eye. It was truly beautiful. Trumpets started calling and everyone started leaving. Me and terry were the only ones left. After Dave was buried we all said our prayers and left. When I arrived at my dorm I flopped on my bed and sighed. *ting* my phone said.
Stephen: hey tony hope the funeral went well, just want to know how you've been.

Tony: hey Stephen it went well and I've been fine.

Stephen: alright, have a good day love.

Tony: you too :)
I put my phone to charge and decided to go to the chill room. I saw all kinds of engineers, Terry was sitting on a desk chair sipping red fruit punch. "Hey Terry." I said as I sat on the other chair beside him. "Do you miss him?" Terry asked. "Who?" I said confused. "Stephen. He isn't really around anymore." Terry said sipping some more of his fruit punch staining his teeth red. "Yeah, I'll meet him soon tho I'm sure." I said and grabbed a bag of cookies. We chatted for a bit while I ate my cookies and drank some milk. Most of the people already left the chill room either because they were tired or were going to a party in dorm 6. Thats where Zeek is, the party animal. We stopped chatting and decided to go to our dorms. Stephen started ringing my phone.
"Hey tony."
"Hey steph."
"Do you want to go for a walk in the forest?"
"Like a date?"
I smirked.
"Eh Maybe haha."
"At what time?"
"Meet me outside at 7:00."
"Ok, love you."
"Love you too."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up and squealed. "What's got you so excited?" Terry asked me looking worried. "Nothing it's just a friend." I said and quickly tried to hide my smile. "He asked you out on a date didn't he?" Terry smiled. "Uh..." I was lost for words. "HE DID!" Terry exclaimed and jumped on the bed. "MY BISEXUAL HOME BOY GOT ASKED OUT BY A BOY!" Terry yelled. "It's not our first date chill." I giggled. "Well don't just stand there! Get ready!" Terry said excitement filling up in him. "Alright, alright!" I said as I walked to my closet hurriedly and got out the finest clothes I had. I walked over to the bathroom and changed, combed my hair and sprayed some cologne on. "Damn you're looking fresh." Terry said and laughed. "Not so much..I need to go shopping." I said looking down at my outfit. "It looks great tony." Terry said and clapped his hands together. "It's already 7:09! Go!" Terry pushes me out of the dorm. "Alright bye!" I waved at him and ran down the hall. "Hey Stephen." I said as I was out the door seeing him leaning on his car. "Hey, you look nice." Stephen complimented me as he stared me up and down. "Thanks." I blushed. "So, ready?" Stephen said and opened the car door for me. "Sure." I said and got in.

Stephen's POV
We were at the forest. Memories started flooding in. To when we jumped in the lake and walked around here. I saw Tony looking up at the sunset, admiring every piece of it. I couldn't help it anymore. I took him by the hand, the other hand trailing up his shoulder. He was shocked, but soon fell in sync with it. I kissed him. Not forcefully, but passionately. Tony grabbed the back of my head and tugged at the loose strands of hair. "Stephen," Tony said when we pulled away. "I love you." Those three words made my heart explode. "I love you too." I said and kissed him once more. We stayed there, lips together for a minute before parting away. Tony smiled and started running. "Hey where are you-" I was cut off by him saying, "Catch me!" Like a kid. So I did. His little legs didn't make him any faster so I caught up with him in no time. "Awe fuck!" Tony cursed and laughed. "You're so short." I said laughing along with him. "Shut it, boogie man." Tony laughed harder. "I don't look like the boogie man.." I said. "Your height says otherwise." Tony said back. We both laughed and continued along the forest. We saw a badger on the trail so Tony decided to feed it some jolly ranchers. That wasn't a good idea. The badger started chasing us. "Run!" Tony screamed and laughed. "Haha! Never thought a badger would do that!" I said and ran with him, almost tripping on a tree trunk. We soon outran the badger and rested at the bottom of a tree. "Ah what a day." Tony said and wiped his tears from laughing too much. "A weird but exciting day." I said and scooted my hand closer to his. We both looked into each others eyes, blue meeting brown. Our hands were soon touching, and our lips forming a grin. I grabbed his face and crashed my lips against his like it was nothing. But then I remembered what the ancient one said. A few days ago. I remember her saying it loud and clear. "You're going to lose a loved one, sooner or later."
