Tony's POV
I was laying in bed next to Stephen after last night. Last night was heaven. Heaven. He's heaven. I sat up still half asleep. "Good morning love." Stephen said droopily. "G'morning." I replied. I got out of bed and put on my slippers. "shit, it's 7:53." Stephen mumbled and got out of bed too. "How did we go to 'going to high school parties with people' to 'going to an engineering school and mystic arts'?" I asked. "I have no idea." Stephen said. "Will Steve be able to find us here? Our school is only like a mile or so farther than here." I said worried. "That prick won't hurt you as long as I'm here." Stephen said putting his arms around my waist. I sighed. "We've got to get to school, we'll be late." Stephen said looking through his wardrobe now. "Got a shirt I can borrow?" I asked. "A sweater that didn't fit me, is that ok?" Stephen said handing me a coffee brown sweater. "Sure." I said and got undressed. The sweater was big and it showed because of the ends of the sleeves sagging over my fists. "Looks cute on you." Stephen said and pecked me on the cheek. "Thanks." I whispered. We walked outside the driveway and drove to the two schools. When it came to my parking lot I said goodbye to Stephen and went inside the engineering school. "Hey stark." Terry said. "Hey wellsford." I said back. Terry sighed and rubbed his temples. "What happened?" I asked. "He died." Terry said. "Who?!" I said now worried. "The founder of the engineering school, Dave Quanders." Terry said on the verge of tears. My smile turned into a sad frown. "It can't be him." I said in disbelief. "I'm sorry." Terry said closing his eyes. "He was like a father figure to me." I whispered under my breath, closing my eyes and letting a single tear fall. "His funeral is tomorrow tony." Terry said looking down and starting to break down silently. I patted his back and did the same thing. "It's ok..life might be hell, but he'll still be here, in our hearts. He can finally rest now." I said breathlessly. "I need to go." Terry said and ran away to the other hall at the right. I was left there, crying, alone. A hell fire.

Stephen's POV
I walked down the abandoned halls scared. After what happened last time at school I felt like trash. "Ah, hey Stephen. Just the person I needed to talk to." Wong came in. "What is it?" I said looking at him. "The ancient one wants to talk to you." Wong said.

I sat at one of the moth eaten chairs looking around the ancient ones office. It didn't seem like an office at all actually. It had ancient flowers and plants stacked up on a brown creaking shelf with a monk statue beside it. I heard the door open and suddenly felt my heart pound. "Hello Stephen." The ancient one greeted and sat down at the maple chair in front of me. "I wanted to talk to you about your magical ability." She said. "I'm sorry, I know I suck at the mystic arts." I said and looked down in embarrassment. "It isn't that Stephen. I need to talk to you about how you are going to have to use it. You will definitely need practice, but the reason why is because, you are going to lose a loved one sooner or later. So you are going to have to practice mystic arts and get better or else you aren't going to get him back." The ancient one said. Him? It can't be tony, no I can't lose him. It's too risky. Please no. No.
"I-i ok." I stuttered. "Listen, i know you don't want to lose him, but it's going to happen soon. Protect him at all costs." She looked at me with an eye filled with sorrow. "I'm sorry." The ancient one said.

Tony's POV
Me and Terry met again in the cafeteria. "Hello again." Terry muttered as he sat down next to me on one of the tables. "Hey." I said. "They said they'll find another replacement for Dave soon. How cold can they be honestly, just after the death of him they just shrug it off and find a replacement." Terry scoffed. I hummed in agreement picking at the mashed potatoes that were on my tray. "I've got to go help Charlie with his tech homework. I'll be back at the dormitory by 6:00, is that ok?" Terry asked. "Sure, go off man." I said and with that he went running. Soon after lunch was over I headed to my my dorm. I didn't feel like continuing the rest of the day so I started to draw blueprints. I didn't have any idea what I would do with all of this tech and shit that I didn't know of. I usually just worked on my robots and mini bots  I've created in the past, but today was different.  I wanted to create something. Something, heroic.

Stephen's POV
I was sitting in my chair listening to the random boy in my dorm rant off. I didn't know his name, I didn't really want to know either. "I hate it when we have to do combat fighting, I mean, I can't even kick someone in the shin! I have to use stupid magic to do it." The boy said. "Mystic arts." I corrected him in a mumble. "Whatever." The boy said. "I want to explore the world with Tony's help." I said. "Your boyfriend? He seems arrogant. Just as much as you." The boy mumbled the last sentence. I gave him a frown. "Tony is something else. It's like a present that has been hiding under your nose all this time but you just couldn't see it yet because you were anxious and shit." I rambled. "Deep." The boy said bluntly. "Also what'd a kermit?" The boy said. I laughed. "It's a stupid internet meme y'know." I just said. "What's a meme?" The boy said. "Wow." I responded.
