Narrator's POV
Stephen and tony were looking around the entire place. Kamar-Taj. It was beauty in ones eye, but it was more than beauty in a sorcerers. "I see you both love each other." The ancient one stated. Tony and Stephen both blushed and looked at each other. "Welcome to Kamar-Taj." The ancient one said smiling at both men. "We aren't suppose to be here, we have school!" Tony said worried. "There are many original schools around Kamar-Taj, but the one stephen will be going to is at the sanctorum." The ancient one pointed to one of the medium sized buildings with a big circular window in the middle of the roof. "That's the sanctum?" Stephen asked looking up at the sanctorum. "Indeed." The ancient one said. Without expecting it both men were in the sanctorum at the blink of an eye. "Teleportation." Tony whispered amused. The ancient one just looked away. "You will learn here, about the magic of the mystic arts, from now on." The ancient one said turning to them. "But what about tony?" Stephen said furrowing his brows. "He can stay, or he can go to the engineering school." The ancient one said. "Do I have to stay here?" Stephen said now taking Tony's hand. "Apparently yes, they say you're actually pretty powerful if you just learn." The ancient one went on. "It's better if tony goes to the engineering school though. I'm pretty sure it's not safe here for him." The ancient one said turning her gaze to tony. Tony seemed horrified to leave Stephen all alone in a magical fucking school. "Tony, I'll come once in awhile but if it means you're going to be safe you need to go." Stephen said now holding both of his hands. "Stephen.." Tony said pained. "I'm sorry tony. I'll come back." Stephen said letting his hands go. "Excellent. Clothes and necessary stuff will be in your dorm." The ancient one said. "See you around steph." Tony said and smiled. Stephen smiled back. The ancient one made a portal to a modern looking form. "Farewell mr. stark." The ancient one said. "Farewell." Tony said and went in the portal looking back. The portal closed and left the ancient one with Stephen. "For now you will go to the dining room and dine with the others, make allies, whatever it is you wish for." The ancient one said and disappeared. Stephen sighed going into the hall that he assumed led to the dining room. It was better at the original school with tony. With his friends. What will people think? Will they recognize that I'm gone? I hate life. I went into a huge room filled with wooden tables that seemed ancient. "It's the new kid guys!" A boy yelled pointing at Stephen. Everyone turned to see Stephen and ran up to him. "How's original school?" One said. "Are you the chosen one?" An arrogant boy said crossing his arms. "No." Stephen replied. "Good, because you seem weak." The boy fired. "Allen don't start now." A girl said and grabbed his shoulder. "I'm sorry." The girl said apologetically walking away with the fuming boy. "Leave him alone." Someone said. "Yes Mr. Wong." Said the other teens walking to their own tables murmuring about Stephen. "I'm Mr. Wong, but you can just call me Wong." Wong said and shook Stephen's hand. "Thank you." Stephen just said. Wong didn't respond but went away instead. Stephen sat alone at a table thinking about tony. He wondered how engineering school would be like. He wondered if he would find someone better. He was scared that tony might leave him. Stephen's phone made a buzzing sound.
Tony: this school is amazing, but not really without you.Stephen:I miss you.
Tony: I miss you too :(
Stephen: going to this school was a mistake.
Tony: you didn't really decide to go to the school. Remember the ancient one told you you'd be stuck in the sanctum.
Stephen: true, but still.
Tony: ah fuck my teachers calling me. I'll text you later?
Stephen: sure
Tony: k bye 🤠
Stephen put his phone back in his pocket. He wanted to see tony again. The lunch bell rang and everyone started running to the exit. It was chaotic but Stephen managed. Stephen had to go back to the ancient one. Say that he was not the right one. It was all a mistake. He wanted to see tony again. "We are going to learn about the mystic arts and how they work." Wong said. Every teen groaned and rolled their eyes. Wong just frowned. "The way mystic arts work, is that you need a lot of concentration and focus." Wong said and got into a meditating position. Every one in the room mimicked the action. Stephen saw and decided to do it too. "Close your eyes and focus." Stephen was now in a realm. Many stars were splattered across the sky, the only things igniting the realm. It seemed that Stephen was floating. He looked in every direction in awe, how the stars reminded him of tony. His tony. "Back." He heard. He was now brought back to reality. Every one kept a straight face probably already bored of it. Stephen on the other hand, was amused. He wanted to go back into the realm and touch the stars. He could've even touched the sun and he wouldn't care about the massive burns. "We will now learn how to make magical portals." Wong said and stood up. Each person stood up including Stephen. "Get in your forms everyone." Wong said. Everyone moved smoothly already in their stance. Stephen glanced around and quickly got into a line. Wong looked at him and looked back to the students. "Pass out the sling rings." Wong said giving an ancient looking box to the first kid in the first row. Each one now had a sling ring. "Now focus." Wong said as everyone started making circular motions with their fingers. "That included you too Stephen." Wong said. "Oh." Stephen said and copied the others. Golden sparks began to form in front of the students except for Stephen. He couldn't do it. He wasn't the right one for this school. "You are not focusing Stephen." Wong said and stood in front of him. "I'm trying." Stephen whispered and closed his eyes tighter. He was pretty sure every student was looking at him funny, like he never knew magic existed. Wong sighed. "We will try next time." Wong said. Everyone started to take off their sling rings and placed them in the ancient box. Stephen did the same. "I need you to focus more Stephen, you can't be thinking about someone else." Wong said. "Wait, how did you know I was thinking about someone else?" Stephen said with wide eyes. "Expression reading, it's easy." Wong said and sighed looking disappointed. "I promise I'll try harder next time!" Stephen cried. "I know you will. But for now you have to get to your dorm." Wong said pointing to the exit door. "Yes Mr. Wong." Stephen said and walked over to the door opening it. "Call me Wong." Wong said firmly. "Yes mr-uh..sure Wong." Stephen said and with that he exited the door. "Oh boy."A/N: i hope this makes up for the lack of posting, I had a big science test today. :) remember, I love each and every one of yas.
