Telling everyone

One week later
Cameron's POV
It's been a week since me and Lauren started dating and we still have to tell the cimorelli's and my family. So that's what we are doing it's about 3:50 pm right now and I'm getting ready cause the cimorelli's are coming over for a dinner where we are going to tell everyone about us.

I go to my closet and put on ripped black jeans and a grey t-shirt and a white, black, and red colored flannel. (Pick at the top). I go downstairs and help my mom and Karen make pasta.

"Hey sweetie can you start rolling the pasta?"

"Yea sure" I go over to the roller and roll out the pasta so it's just the right thickness. I then cut the pasta into think slices and hand the tray to my mom.

"Oh thanks sweetie. We should get these done with soon cause the cimorelli's will be over soon." She puts the pasta in the boiling water. We are Italian so we always make homemade pasta.

I start setting the table and getting the house a little more organized. Now it's 4:27 pm and the cimorelli's should be here at 4:30 so I sit on the couch and start watching  softball.

I hear the door bell ring.

"I got it!" I yell. I walk over to the door and open it so see everyone there.

"Hey everyone come on in" I see Lauren who is wearing black jean shorts and an oversized red shirt that is half tucked. She looked absolutely adorable. I hug Lauren and whisper in her ear.

"You look adorable babe"

Lauren's POV
"You look adorable babe" Cam whispered in my ear then kissing my cheek.

"Thanks" I could feel a blush creeping onto my face. I honestly am so nervous about telling my family. I mean I know they accept me well at least my sisters but I don't know about my brothers and parents.

We all sit down at the table and I'm in between Cam and Dani. Cameron secretly intertwines our fingers under the table. It made me feel safe and she could tell I was nervous cause she gave me a reassuring smile.

As the dinner went on we thought it was finally time.

"Eh hem" everyone's heads turn to me and Cam.

"We have an announcement to make" I look over at Cam who gives me another reassuring smile and slightly nods.

"Me and Cam are dating" everyone sat there in shock but not in a bad way.

"Lauren honey is this true?"

"Yea"

"Omg finally"

"Huh"

"You guys think you're subtle? Honey somebody from a mile away could tell you to likes each other."

"Really?" Cam asks surprised.

"CLAUREN!" Lisa yells. I look at her confused as Cam just smiles.

"What's that?"

"It's our ship name" Cam explains. I make an o shape with my mouth and turn back to them.

"Me and Lisa are co-captains of this ship" Rebecca says. Me and Cam just laughed at them together.

"Haha and yes and of course I accept you guys" my mom said cheerfully. My dad on the other hand had a look of disappointment?

"Dad?"

"Look sweetie it's fine it's just give me time to get used to it ok?"

"Yea"

"Mom?" Cam asked.

"Oh sweetie I love it you too are adorable"

"Really?"

"Yes of course" Cam turned to me and just smiled. We all went back to eating and I decided to stay over and just borrow some close.

I'm in Cam's bed laying there on my phone while she is getting changed into pajamas.

"I'm so happy right now" Cam says walking over to me and laying down next to me over the duvet.

"Same" I smile and peck her lips.

"So do you need to borrow pajamas?"

"Yea if you don't mind" she pecks my lips and gets up from her bed and goes to her closet. She comes back with a loose tank top and some exercise shorts. She hands them to me and gets back onto her bed.

"Uhm close your eyes"

"Ok" she closes her eyes while I change into the clothes.

"All done"

"Cool" I walk over to her and lean on the side of the bed. She comes over and wraps her arms around my waist.

"You look good in my clothes" she smirks.

"Well I should borrow them more often" I wink. She then immediately attaches our lips. They move in sync and she then bites my bottom lip and pulls away.

She moves to my neck and starts kissing all the way down it. She moves me to the bed and lays me down. Then she climbs on top and continues kissing my neck.

I let out a small moan and she smiles on my neck. She starts sucking more aggressively which will surely leave a mark tomorrow.

"Hey Cam" she stops and looks me in true eye.

"Yea sorry if I went a little to far."

"It's ok it's just that I'm not ready"

"Of course." She lays down next to me and I cuddle up next to her by putting my head on her shoulder. She wraps her arms around me and I rest my hand on her stomach.

"Tonight was great"

"Yea it really was"

"I need to tell you something though" I look at Cam with a worried expression.

"Ok?"

"It's just my dad cheated on my mom that's why we moved here."

"Omg Cam I'm so sorry"

"No it's ok" she had tears in her eyes.

"It's just lately I've been having trouble trusting people. But when I met you it felt like all of that never happened and I am happy. So I just need to know you won't hurt me the way my father did to my mother" I put my hand on her cheek and rub it with my thumb.

"Of course baby" she smiled and kissed me softly but passionately as if you could feel every emotion she was feeling.

"Goodnight love"

"Goodnight" I smiled as she turned off her lamp that's on her nightstand and layer back down. I layer in her arms again as I could feel myself slowly drift off into sleep.
