Cameron's POV
So because of Emily's death the school gave me a whole month off. Not gonna lie I'm so glad I don't have to go back right now.

I was walking through town by myself with my thoughts when I bumped into this random person.

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you- Lauren?"

"Oh hey Cam" the brown eyed girl was standing right in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" I looked at her,

"Just walking to Starbucks you?"

"Same" she smiled at me.

"Do you maybe wanna walk together?" She laughed and nodded her head. We walked all the way to Starbucks with actually comfortable silence. I open the door for her and she said thank you.

"Hey what can I get you guys?"

"I'll have an iced chai latte with almond milk." He typed in my order.

"Lauren what are you getting?" She looks at me shockingly.

"Oh you don't have to pay for me."

"No I insist." She smiled and ordered the same drink. We got both our coffees and sat down at one of the tables for two.

"Its been a while hasn't it?"

"Yea sure has" I awkwardly smiled and she lightly laughed.

"So how have you been." Lonely, and heartbroken cause I miss you. This is what I wanted to say. But instead I said,

"Oh you know ok still getting used to the fact that Emily's not around but I'm ok you?" Ughhhhh.

"Oh I'm doing good the band has been doing great and I've been spending time with friends so it's been good." I smiled knowing she was happy but it all still hurt.

"That's good." We just sat there kind of awkwardly and kept drinking our coffee.

"Ok well I actually have to head out so I'll see you around?"

"Oh yea bye Cam" I smiled at her and waved bye as I walked out.

"Wait Cam" I looked back at her and saw her coming towards me.

"Yea?"

"So we are having a party for the fact that we are going on tour again so I was wondering if you wanted to come it's at 6:00."

"Yea sure sounds fun."she smiled widely and I walked back to my house. I got a little more dressed up by putting on black skinny jeans with no rips and a white shirt with a tan jacket over it.

I put on white converse and a black belt to go with it. (Photo at the top).
I walked back downstairs and saw that I had so much time. I decided to finish up another song I was writing and thought about maybe performing if for Lauren one of these days.

Once I finished it I looked at the clock and realized it was 5:45 pm so I got up from my room put my guitar down and started walking over to there house.

I get there and already hear music coming from inside. Dani opens the door for me and looks almost surprised that I'm here.

"Hey Dani"

"CAM!" She screamed and hugged me.

"Dude I've missed you so much!"

"Haha missed you to dan." We walked into the living room together where everyone was. They were all just talking with lights and music playing.

I waved to everyone in the room and turned my head where I saw Lauren sitting on some guys lap. Ouch. I ended up walking and sitting down in between Lisa and Dani.
