During English Literature the following day, with Harry and Liam in the same class as well, of course, Liam actually acknowledged me. He asked how I was and if everything is going great, whereas Harry just sat next to him, not giving a care in the world—typical Harry but colder this time. At least Liam was friendly enough to ask me about my day and also even asked about Sam, something I wasn't really used to since no one knew him apart from Jules and Bea, and well, Harry. Liam seemed nice. I know I don't know him that much but I can see that he's a really nice guy.
In the middle of the class, I felt someone tap my shoulder behind me. I looked and saw a girl named Abby, handing me a small paper. I looked at the paper and sent her a confused look. She then pointed at a brunette guy with blue eyes, who smiled at me as soon as I looked at him. Who was he? I sent him a tight smile before taking the paper from Abby and also thanked her before leaning back against my seat and read the note from the blue eyed guy.
Hey. Wanna go out sometime? I'm Charlie.
This is really weird since I don't know this guy and he's asking me to go out with him even if we've never even talked ever. I don't even know if I'd seen him around till now. I slipped the paper in my notes and looked at him before shaking my head, causing his smile to fall but nod slowly and sent me a thumbs up.
I smiled sympathetically before turning back to the teacher. I can still feel eyes on me as I stared ahead, though, making me shift in my seat uncomfortably. Doing so made my eyes fall towards Harry, who's sitting on the chair behind the one next to me again, like that's his place now, including Liam.
Our eyes met and he had a look in his eyes that I can't really explain. I pursed my lips and looked away from him, hoping he's do the same because it's not normal for him to just look at me whenever he wants, especially since we're not on good terms and being stared at is something that I've always hated.
While listening to the teacher, I drew some stuff on my notebook and at the same time, I wrote some things down as well to keep my mind off of Harry.
As soon as the bell rang, something I'm glad about, I gathered all my things. My bag is in my locker at the moment because we had to go to the auditorium for a quick conference earlier.
"Hey." A voice said in front of me.
I looked up and saw the same blue eyed guy, Charlie. "Um, hi." I said and brought my things to my arms.
"I'm sorry for asking that stupid question back there." He said with a small chuckle and scratched the back of his head.
I shrugged. "It's okay, I guess." I said and started walking towards the door but he followed me as well.
"I saw your work in Mrs. Langford class. It's really amazing." He said.
"Thank you." I turned to him with a confused look. "But how to you know who I am?" I asked.
"Mia, right?" He said and I nodded. "I know you because of Harry Styles, whom I hope isn't your boyfriend." He added.
"Oh. He's not, really." I said.
"Then, why are you always...you know, together? If it's okay to ask." He said and chuckled a little.
"He's a family friend." I said way too quickly and started walking towards my locker. "So, he's always giving me a ride to and from school." I explained.
"Oh. Okay." He said. "So...uh, you really don't want to hang out sometimes?" He asked and chuckled a little.
I sighed. "I have too much to do these next few days, Charlie. I'm sorry." I said, sending him a small smile.
