Words change their meanings with time,
They become symbols of our developing minds.Earthly realities change with time,
They become old and decline. The nature watches quietly, with time,
While the troubled souls seek to be divine.Plato said love was beyond it all,
Not subject to the world's rise and fall. With time, we termed this love - platonic,
Making it a part of our lives. Now, the meaning of love has changed,
Where we all fend for ourselves.Platonic love, now just a word, with time,
A word that only evokes sadness. For now, we seek only physical love,
And platonic love is unworthy.••••
