Chapter 26: Carter’s POV

Andy would be home in a few days, he still hasn’t talked about trying to change his schedule but I wasn’t going to push it on him to make sure he came home earlier. If he couldn’t, he couldn’t. That’s just life.

It was 10:30 and I had fallen asleep. My back was still hurting but I refused to take any sort of pain medication right now. I did not want that being given to my child. I heard a faint creaking and a shut of a door. I awoke but I kept my eyes close and I stayed in a laying position.

I heard little movement till someone slowly slid into bed. I smiled as I knew who was laying there, waiting for me to wake up. I smiled as I turned myself to the presences direction. Andy was lying there and I kissed his lips softly. “Hey…” I whispered.

“Hey…” He said back. “How are you?” He asked me.

“I’m doing well.” I said tiredly as he held me close to him.

“How’s the baby?” He asked and I nodded as I slid the blanket off my belly and I showed him my progress.

“You’ve gotten bigger… I feel like I’ve missed so much already.” He sighed.

“I know but you couldn’t change your schedule…” I said to him as I ran a hand through his black hair that looked almost invisible in the dark. “But look on the Brightside… in the morning I will schedule an appointment for noon to find out what our baby is.” I grinned. I could see happiness in his bright blue eyes that will even visible in the dark.

“I’m so excited.” He grinned as I felt his hand being placed where the unborn laid. We fell asleep like that, dreaming of noon the next day and hoping to see then unborn life from the outside. I just wished me and the little baby inside of me could be on the outside as well.

I woke up the next morning, Andy was still in bed, almost falling off the side to be exact. I slid out of bed and I checked the time on my nightstand clock. 9:30. I ran a hand through my hair as I walked out of the bedroom and went to the telephone.

I dialed the doctor’s number and I waited for the receptionist to pick up. “Hello Los Angele’s Hospital.” She said to me.

“Hi I would like to schedule an ultrasound.” I said to her.

                “Name?” She asked me.

“Carter Gray, I will be accompanied by Andy Biersack.” I said to her. I heard typing on the other end. “If possible, I would like an appointment for noon.” I said to her.

“Sounds great!” She said with one last hit of a button. “You are scheduled for 12.” She chirped.

“Thank you, Bye.” And I hung up. Now 9:37, I walked back into the bedroom where Andy had moved himself off the side and to a less dangerous spot. To be exact, the middle of the bed. I chuckled at him lightly as I took out a Black Veil Brides shirt, a pair of jeans, and black vans.

Andy had gotten me a few new BVB shirts that would fit me now with the extra load. I didn’t even own this certain one in a normal size. Nether the less, I was excited to wear it. My hair was pre-washed so I slipped into my clothes in the bathroom. I did a bit of makeup and I straightened my hair.

When I was finishing my hair Andy walked into the bathroom and leaned against the door hinge. “I have the appointment scheduled.” I grinned into the mirror sense I knew that was where he was looking. “It’s at 12 and its 10:30.” I told him.

“I have to go search for something…” He muttered, walking into his closet. I walked out of the bathroom and I went to take Batty out to go to the restroom. I put him on his leash and I took him to the grass area outside.

When he did his business I cleaned up and I threw it away. I took him upstairs to the apartment and I let him off the leash. When I took him off the leash Andy popped out of the bathroom, fully dressed.

“We have an hour to kill.” Andy sighed. “Well we have to leave at 11:40. So like 40 minutes…” He said, grabbing his wallet and keys. “Come on let’s go get something to eat.” He beckoned. I nodded.

“Hey I wanted to vlog for my channel, can I do that while we eat?” I asked.

“It’s your job remember?” He grinned at me as we left the apartment. I took out my camera that I owned but Andy grabbed it. “I want to film.” He smirked as he pressed the on button and the red light lit up as a signal to speak. “Hello!” Andy sang into the camera.

“I feel like you’re job for me.” I giggled.

“Maybe. I might even edit it.” He raised an eyebrow and I shook my head.

“No it has to be my style or it will bother me.” I giggled. We continued to talk to my camera as we walked down the stairs and into the parking garage. We got into the car and I think we were just rambling about different things for a long time.

“We never said what were actually doing today.” Andy raised an eyebrow.

“Were going to have an ultrasound today! I won’t be filming during or after. I’ll tell you guys on Twitter if we get the gender tomorrow. Or well today for you guys.” I rolled my eyes. “Were probably going to do something for stupid for 35 minutes…” I nodded.

“Probably.” Andy shrugged with a playful grin.

So eating and videotaping seemed to fly buy even though in my head it felt like it would take a while. No idea why… just thought it would take a while. I turned off my camera as we entered the hospital, I signed myself in, and all I had to do was wait.

                And I am not patient.

Waiting, staring at wedding and baby magazines didn’t help in the slightest. Andy wasn’t patient either as I saw him tapping his foot, trying to calm his non showing excitement. Seriously he had zero facial expression which I don’t know why I found it kind of funny.

“Carter Gray?” A nurse with a calming voice called out. I stood up, Andy following right behind me as she took me down the hall and into a room with different machines, a motor, and what I presumed was my file on the small table nearby.

I sat on the side of the ultrasound chair while Andy was sitting nearby. The nurse took a seat in a small spinney circular rolling chair. “Hello I’m Nurse Smith, I’ll be doing your ultrasound today. Is this your first?” She asked and I nodded. “You have nothing to worry about, I will just be squirting some gel on your stomach and look in with the wand attached to the monitor.” She explained. I nodded again.

I rolled up my shirt she began her process which she had explained to me earlier. Gel, Wand. Good. She flipped the monitor on as she looked around for the baby. She soon stopped on a small figure. “There she is!” She said happily, pointing at the screen with her pen.

“She?” Andy asked her with hope in his eyes.

“She.” She grinned at him. Andy took my hand.

                “Hey Camilla.” He whispered.
