-Pitch's theme: I'm the bad guy, is a reference to Gladion being part of team skull for a while. The phrase "Strike a pose!" Also references this.
-Kuro's theme: Shadow fingers, is a reference to a move used by Fang from Boboiboy, a character that also uses shadow powers.
-The phrase "Dark magic? Good purposes" is a reference to Oleander, who believes that Dark magic can indeed be used for good.
-Heise's theme: Blackwards cap, is a pun, combining backwards cap and black. A reference to her hat.
-The phrase "You have been challenged..." is a reference to the royal knight papyrus fight.
-Jet's theme: Night Riding, is a joke about Rider being his counterpart.
-The term "Cuda Cruising" is a reference to his theme, Barracuda.
-Noir's theme: Royal Nocturnal, has no significant reference other than referencing his royalty and shadow powers.
-"Skyfire Volcano" is a reference to the (literal) translated versions of Tianhuo and Huoshan, the character (the actual pony's theme) and theme used.
-Negro's theme: Dark Agent, is a reference to how he is the counterpart of Hachi, and how Hachi is Agent 8.
-The phrase "Return of the brilliant thief" is a reference to the battle theme, and how Negro stole the map.
-Crow's theme: Murder, is a reference to what a group of crows is called.
-The phrase "Rude, Rude, bust a move..." comes from a lyrical of Rude Buster:

-Ebony's theme, Prince of twilight, does not exactly have a significant reference, other than referring to the fact he is a Prince/King.
-The phrase "World devoured" is a reference to the theme, which is a fanmade terraria boss.
-The phrase "Black crystals" is a reference to the ones on Solgaleo and Lunala.
As a bonus, it could also be a reference to Sombra from MLP and his crystals, since he is part shadow.
-The phrase "One Two, One Two" is a reference to the few words spoken in the battle theme, Opia.
-The phrase "Fly away now" not only references the first SkyRoad animation I made on scratch (seen here:

), but also Fly Octo Fly.
-The phrase "Lives on Rails" is a reference to a misinterpretation of the lyrics of Fly Octo Fly.
