Part 8-The Letter

Dear Readers, 

This may sound a little strange to you but imagine if you had painted something on your old closet door and now someone else has that room and you ask them to paint over it. The thing is, there is never a time when you will be more honest when your convictions will be stronger or that your motive will be purer then they are right now. Which means that you should chase whatever it is that excites you. Be confident. Take risks. So you paint over those words so that you can begin to write your own words. That person that had that room before you may have inspired you but that person may be certain that your words may inspire the next person that has that same room. I want people to know that you don't need somebody to write about you for your life to mean something. You can write about yourself, make your destiny. Then years from now, the next person will keep what you wrote long enough to remind you of how inspired that person was about the life that you have or had. And then you can tell the next person that has that room to paint over the door cause you begin to realize that those words you wrote, the friends you had, the urgency you had will be there underneath the pain. The love you professed will always be there, that spark undeniable, the hope, the truth. For better or for worse runs fiercely underneath the surface.
