Truth or Dare

Chapter 10:

The rain had suddenly stopped as fast as it had started. There was a strange energy in the basement, and everyone got out. The entire group went upstairs and got James into the medical unit. They got out to the cars and drove to the closest Emergency Room following the medic unit. There the doctors listened to how the injuries happened and treated them. They were surprised that James knee wasnt worse than what the x-rays showed. While he would never play pro sports, he wouldnt need surgery or anything of the nature. He would heal. Steves hand was checked and rebandaged. He would have a permanent scar on his hand from where the burn had happened. The police contacted Jennys parents and with Steve being there explained what had happened. She had insisted on staying in the house and they couldnt explain what they had seen. They would be checking on her in a few days.

Matt took a deep breath and had Steve drive him to the police station along with James and everyone that had heard the confession. He had lived with it for too long. They went in and James asked for the detective that had worked on his fathers case. Nick had checked himself into drug rehab and was determined to get and stay clean for once.

Selene and Matt went to their church and asked for full confessions and decided to rededicate their lives to their religion as well as understanding other religions. They also decided to get engaged.

The police went back to the manor house and were surprised to see the changes that were happening. It had been less than a week since they had been there, and they were in for a shock. The paint had restored itself; the grounds were restored to their beauty from before. They went to the door and knocked. Jenny and Set answered the door. Officers what can we do for you?

May we come in and look around? one of the officers asked. They had a warrant to search and interview everyone in the house. They were hoping to not have to go that route.

Please feel free to come in. Set said. How are the others that were here recently? he held the door open for them. The two officers went in and began to look around. Now that Jenny has come home, the temple has begun to restore itself.

Jenny, your parents are worried about you. They wanted us to have you come to their home and explain to them what is going on. One of the officers said. We cant force you, but we would like to have them come here and see that you are happy and healthy. I understand from talking to the other young adults that were here, your family life was a challenge and wont force the issue.

My parents are welcome to come and visit but they need to understand that I am not leaving. Set and I are happy here and will be staying here. We have some other people that are going to be coming so we will need to schedule the time. Jenny said. Would you like a tour of the temple?

Please, we did some research and found the correct offerings for each area of the temple. The officers said and were taken on a tour with the correct offerings at each area. When they were satisfied with the safety of the temple and everything, they left.
