"Be a good boy, okay?" He kissed his eight-year-old son goodbye. "Be good to your Aunt N'Lay."
"Don't worry too much, Tin. I'll take good care of baby Can." He patted the kids back still clung on his father's embrace. "We'll give you a call every day when you're not too busy."
"It will just be a few weeks baby. I'll be back sooner than you think." He wipes his son's tears. "I promise I will buy you the talking Iron Man toy you always wanted when I'm back."
The kid hiccups through his silent sobs and nodded to his father.
"Good boy." He lovingly played with his son's hair and gently caressed his button chin. "I love you so so so much! I'm gonna miss you every day while I'm away." Tin kissed his son again.
"I love you, daddy," Can replied.
N'Lay gently took the boy from Tin's arms, and Tin ran his hands over his already crinkled shirt and tie.
"Okay then, I'll better be going before my plane leaves me," Tin spoke. He kissed his son's head one last time and gave N'Lay a brotherly hug.
He gave both a final wave flashing his signature boxy smile, before towing his luggage and carrier and walking towards his boarding gate at the airport.
This will be the first time he's going to be away from his son. Also, his first time spending his birthday alone and far away.
For Tin, he will just be taking a short trip to Hawaii for a Medical Convention. But all the stars in the universe has another plan---to bring two souls together, to rewrite a destiny and a once fallen love story.
