It was a long 9 hours flight, and Tin arrived in Hawaii exactly at sunrise. He was picked up from the airport by the official resort coaster going to the hotel he will be staying for the next few weeks.

He was greeted by the resort staff as soon as he arrived and was escorted straight to his room. He called N'Lay to check on his Little Baby Can but the kid was already asleep. The 19-hour time difference will be quite hard to get adjusted to.

He purposefully arrived 3 days earlier that the convention he was about to attend, so he would have ample extra time to explore and roam around the area.

He immediately unloaded and unpacked his things to get settled in. The view from his room was majestic. From his balcony, the sea breeze calmly blows with the fresh robust scent of the ocean. The turquoise water of the sea glistens under the bright sunlight.

Not from afar, he saw a group of boatmen readying themselves for a morning sail.

Tin wanted to catch up on some more sleep but he decided to just go on with the day and just call the night early. He trudged to the beach for a nice early morning walk.

Sunrise is so underrated. He thought as he looked on the horizon. Unlike the sunset, the sunrise symbolizes a new beginning, new chances---to pick oneself up from a great fall to right all thing we did wrong, and to begin again.

Maybe it's time for him to start again.

It's been eight years since Can passed.

I'm pretty sure Can will understand if I will try to start over again, with a different man, Tin thought.

Maybe he should finally consider dating his colleague Ming.

He's good looking, responsible, and kind-hearted. He comes from a good family, too. And besides, he's quite grown fond of his son, Can.

Ming has always expressed his admiration for him, but Tin just couldn't commit yet to a new relationship.

Tin smiled at the possibility.
