The Whitelighter Part 1

Chapter 22 - Rescue Misson

SCENE: Book realm. Forest. The Light One as he is known here returns home to Belle, their new son, and meets Issac. With Belle gone for a moment Issac has time to try explain things. 

After all Rumple knew something was off, "You didn't come here for the water." Isaac smiled, "Perceptive in all worlds. Good. Yes. I came here to warn you. Your happiness is in danger." Issac began to tell him about Henry and Will trying to change things including Robin Hood's wedding. "Demon! You've been sent here to try to corrupt me." Isaac spoke quickly, "You have already been corrupted. Before all of this, you were a villain... Maybe the worst one of all. Which is why you had me use magic to rewrite your story. Look, I can prove it to you. I-I know things... The secrets that you've kept from Belle, the ones about your first son... Baelfire." Rumple grew even more angry, "Where did you hear that name?" Isaac continued, "In this story, he was killed in the ogre wars despite your heroic efforts. But in reality, he died because of your cowardice." Issac was ordered to get out of his house, "All right. I'll go. But deep down, you know I'm right. You're not really a hero. And if you don't kill Regina and keep her from her happy ending, then everyone, including Belle, will know, too. I know you'll make the right choice, Rumple. You always do."

SCENE: Book realm. The docks. Henry steps aboard the Jolly Roger to meet Captain Hook. 

Henry just hoped this Hook would be able to help him. "Careful, boy. No one steps aboard the Jolly Roger's decks without an invitation from its captain first." Henry unintentionally made a joke, "Are you gonna make me walk the plank?" Hook aid it depended on why he was here. Henry said he needed to borrow a captain and a ship. Hook apologize, "I'm sorry for you. Even if I wanted to, I can't help you." Henry was confused, "Why? You're a captain. Can't you take your ship wherever you want?" Before Hook could speak someone else arrived, "A captain? Is that who he says he is? What do you say, Hook? Beat me, and the Jolly Roger is yours." Blackbeard said drawing his sword. "Henry! I know where she is!" Will called slipping past the 'captain' on board and standing next to Henry.

 Blackbeard laughed, "Now there's two little children, I'm so scared." He laughed. "Get off my ship!" Will scoffed at him, "It it was really your ship you'd know not to step there." Will pushed Blackbeard who stepped onto a board and got his leg stuck. Will then stole his sword. Hook started forward, "Will?" he couldn't believe it. Henry thought that maybe Hook broke from the spell of the book but he was wrong. Will carefully hugged his father seeing as he still had a sword. "This is touching really." Blackbeard said annoyed. Hook walked over and punched Blackbeard knocking him out. They were on there way to save Emma and get the hell out of this book. Henry said they didn't need a crew to sail the ship and that the two of them could help.  "How do you know how to sail a ship?" he asked of Henry, "I had a great teacher... You."

SCENE: Book realm. Eventually they found land in the middle of the ocean that seemed like a tower but also a prison at the same time. A black night stood guard and Henry came up with a plan.

Hook brings Henry to the black knight as a prisoner, "I'm here on official business for the queen, delivering a dangerous prisoner from the kingdom of Kashyk." The knight leans in to look at Henry. Henry takes Hook sword and knocks the knight out with the  hilt. Henry ha Hook lock the guard in a cell an he hurried to find Emma in the higher levels.  When he got there he approached with caution and spoke carefully, "Hi. My name is..." Emma spoke over him relieved, "Henry. I knew you'd find me." They hugged despite Emma being in chains. Henry began to unlock them, "I don't understand. How do you remember when no one else does?" Emma shrugged, "Must have been part of Gold's plan. My punishment in this world is that I know the truth but I'm powerless to do anything about it. In this world, I'm no longer the savior. I've got no magic." Henry nodded, "That's all right. I think I know what to do. Now, come on." They left the cell quickly and Emma ran into Hook. "Uh, Killian, this is my mom. Mom, Killian." Hook nodded oblivious, "Uh... Yeah, um... Pleasure." They all continued on there way back to the ship, they had a wedding to stop.

SCENE: Book realm. The Jolly Roger. Emma thanked Hook for his help hoping she could make him remember when a dragon broke out of the tower. Henry and Will were sent bellow deck while the two of them worked together to knock the dragon down. 

She falls under the see leaving Hook stunned, "That was close."  Emma nodded, "Yeah really close."  Hook looked at her eyes , "Can I ask you a question? You trusted me with your life just now. Why?" Emma was nervous, "It's complicated. Might take a while." If she didn't know any better she'd say Hook was flirting with her but this wasn't the Hook she knew, "My schedule's pretty clear." he said. Emma smiled, "Okay. Let's first work on your fighting skills. Then we've got to help Regina stop that wedding."

SCENE: Book realm. Snow's dark castle. She had the dwarves and Granny setting around  table and she was livid. Regina was gone and none of them had found anything rearing Will and Henry. 

They were arguing until Snow yelled at them and then switched her voice to a more calm voice, "We aren't here to fight. We're a team. It's not your fault. It's mine. You see, I am your leader, and I have to lead by example. We have to go to extreme lengths to succeed. And to do that... I have to show you how. I have to motivate you." Snow White rips Doc's heart and kills him. "Now you're down to six. Unless you want to make it five find Regina and the boys and kill them.

SCENE: Book realm. Will and Henry were looking for food while Emma was with Hook and teaching him basics with a sword. She even some what told him about the other reality that they belonged to.

Emma noticed that his sword here was different from the sword he had when she, Snow, an Mulan fought him and Cora. "They say once you become an expert, your subconscious takes over. Back in my world, that's what we call muscle memory." Hook smiled, "Tell me more about this reality you want to return to. Us, for example. I sense that we, uh... We may be close." Emma nodded, "Very." Hook blushed lightly, "Really? Well, I'm starting to get jealous of the other me." Emma spoke quickly, "Let's see what food Henry's discovered. I'm starving."

Then all hell broke loose, "There they are. It's as I told you, my queen. The one-handed pirate was helping them. And the boys were with them, as well." It was Lily showing up with Snow, David, Grumpy, and few extra black Knights. "Tell us where the child is hiding!" Grumpy attacks Hook nearly cutting him. "Hey! Back off, dwarf! Or they'll change your name to 'stumpy'!" Emma yelled pushing him back hard. "I know you. You're... Emma. The mad hag who was locked in the tower. I almost didn't recognize you out of your chains." Snow said. "You're the one that's hard to recognize... Both of you. This isn't who you are. You're my parents. I'm the product of your true love. You taught me how to be a hero, you taught me how to believe in hope. And I do. And now I need you to believe in it, too." Emma explained. "You're right. Emma. Hope is a very powerful thing." 

Emma was relieved but it was short lived. "Which is why I'm going to have to snuff it out of you and that awful son of yours. Kill them." The knights armed themselves, "Wait! There they are." David pointed out. Emma turned to see Will and Henry had arrive with  bit of food. "My, my. I am going to enjoy watching them die in front of their mother." Hook drew his sword and told her to save her son and his. "Killian, you can't beat them." Hook got her to look at him, "If I can help return things to how they were meant to be, then what happens to me here won't matter, will it? Now go." he said. She ran back to Henry and Will making sure they were ready.

Hook kicked a board causing  several bags to fall of of a shelf onto Lily and her group leaving David and Snow. "Is she worth your life, pirate?" David taunted as he drew his sword. "I'm willing to find out." David hit Hook's sword and could tell that he was scare with made him smile. They continued t fight and David almost cut him but Hook managed to knock David's sword out of his hand and elbowed him in the face. "What do you know? I'm a natural." Snow White approaches him and Hook points the end of his sword towards her neck. She moves cautiously around him but Hook moved with her. "What about you, your majesty? Shall I make quick work..." It was a distraction, David got his sword back and stabbed Hook from behind. "No!" Emma called. Will dropped all the small amount of foo was carrying and dropped to the floor. "I never did like pirates." avid whispered twisting the sword before removing it and Hook fall to the ground. Henry managed to break Emma out of her trance and helped Will up so they could run. Snow's fireball missed them by centimeters.
