6: Disney Princess

Luke (The little mermaid): You had always imagined running along a beach and feeling the sand between your toes, unfortunately there was one small problem, you had a long tail. Fish tail to be exact, because you were a mermaid.

You popped your head out of the water to see the beautiful outside world, as you usually did. The sky was a beautiful blue and it was absolutely cloudless, how you wished you could stare at it all day.

You were brought out of your thoughts however, when you heard a huge splash.

You turned your head in the direction of the splash, realizing that a body had fallen into the water, from the pier, with a loud splash. You shrieked when you realized that they would have definitely seen you, hence why they fell into the water. 

Quickly, you swam over to the body- which was a blonde boys- and foud that he was unconscious. you quickly dragged him onto the sand, which was very difficult because it's not everyday people- or should I say mermaids- have to move on land. 

"Excuse me... hello?" you asked, unsure of what to say. You stared at the boy for a minute or so,  poking him with a stick that was nearby, until he finally made a move, opening his beautiful blue eyes- they reminded you of the sky you had always dreamt of staring at. 

"Are you okay?" you asked, feeling awkward as you tried to lean up on your elbows. 

"Wh-what happened?" he asked before opening his eyes wider, and as soon as they landed on you, a loud shriek came out of his mouth. 

"WHO ARE YOU? OH MY GOD I'M DREAMING. WAKE UPPP!" the boy yelled. 

he started hitting himself in the head, before you decided to throw sand at his head- which made him halt his actions.

"CALM DOWN!" you yelled at the boy. 

"Ar-are you a mermaid?" the boy stuttered. You rolled your eyes at his stupid question. 

"Of course I'm a mermaid, do humans have a huge fish tail, I think not." you replied, receiving a giggle in return? 

"But how?" he asked. 

"Look, how am I supposed to know? I don't want to be a mermaid for your information, so please, just stop with the questions." you replied, feeling a bit annoyed, that was like asking why humans were created, no one knows. 

"Sorry?" he replied. 

"No, I'm sorry for being snappy." you sighed. "What's your name?" you asked. 

"Luke, yours?" he asked. 

"Y/N." you replied.

"Umm... so like why don't you like being a mermaid?" he asked you after a while of awkward silence. 

"I just really want legs." you giggle causing him to laugh as well. You felt a pang in your heart when you saw his beautiful smile,  he sure was handsome.

"Thanks for saving me, by the way." he smiled at you, making you blush, why were you so captivated by his blue eyes all of a sudden? 

"Well I wasn't going to just let you die now, was I?" you laughed. 

"I guess not." he smirked. "so you say you want to be a human." he asked, still smirking. 

"Mmmhhmmm." you humed in response. 

"Well, there's this story in my world, about a mermaid saving this guy who ends up being her destined love, and well, when they kiss she turns into a human." he smirks at you. 

"So you're saying that I should kiss you if I want to be human?" you ask while blushing wildly, slightly unsure. 

"Well it couldn't hurt, could it." he replied.
