A Baby Project (Dramione)

Chapter 3

"Hello students I will be your baby project teacher for the year. My name is Professor Bernate. Now if you will all sit with your partner we will begin." She waited until everyone was seated with the correct person to speak again. "Now in front of everyone is a potion that will impregnate the woman. Both of you will need to put a piece of your hair in it for it to work and this will also pass on your genes to the child. The women will drink it and you will start to feel light headed and that is normal. You may all begin."

"Give me one of your hairs Malfoy." Hermione demanded. As she reached for his head.

"I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself." Draco said as he pulled a piece of hair out. Hermione did the same and they both dropped their hair in the potion and it started to change colors from a lime green to a navy blue.

"Well here it goes." Hermione said to herself as she took a cup of it and drank it. "Oh my god that was disgusting." Hermione said as she almost threw up. "I feel like I might pass out."

"The professor said that was normal Granger."

"I know." Hermione replied and she looked back up to the professor.

"Ladies now that all of you are pregnant you should know that this pregnancy will only last three months. Each month you will experience the symptoms from each trimester. Next week we will talk about marriage and when that needs to happen by. Class dismissed."

Everybody went to meet up with their friends to talk except Hermione and Draco who were still in their seats because they heard something that nobody else did. They went up to talk to the professor about what they heard.

"Perfessor did you say marriage as in we have to get married?" Hermione was the first to ask.

"Of course dear, did Professor Mcgonagall not tell you."

"Tell us what?" Draco asked this time.

"The partner you got is you future husband or wife for life."

"WHAT." They both yelled and started walking towards Hogsmead.

"How are they supposed to expect us to marry each other. You bullied me for six years and I hated you."

"Hated?" Draco was now curious why she said hated. Did she not hate him anymore?

"Yes hated. I got over everything but still, I don't want to marry you and I'm pretty sure that you don't want to marry me either. Right?"

"Right."

They walked in silence the rest of the way and when they finally got there everyone was shocked to see them together.

"We both stayed behind in class to ask the professor a question." Hermione told them.

"We also agreed to try to be civil since we are having a kid and have to live together." Draco added on.

"Also we have to get married." Hermione finished.

"WHAT why?" Ron yelled.

"It's part of the law. We all have to marry our partners." Draco answered Ron.

"Well we're ok with that." Ginny said looking up at her boyfriend sweetly.

"How are you guys so calm knowing Hermione has to marry the ferret." Ron still couldn't believe that Hermione was paired with Draco. Almost everyone else had just excepted the fact that they were paired.

"Ron we've all just excepted the fact that there is nothing we can do." Ginny told her brother.

"Ron why are you so worried about her when you got paired with me. Aren't you happy about that." Lavender asked her boyfriend.

"Of course I am. I'll stop if it makes you happy." Ron said as he kissed her.

As it was nearing dinner time all the couples went down for dinner in the castle because they wouldn't be doing much longer. They all walked together which surprised all of the younger students who didn't know about the baby project.

"Bye guys" Hermione said as the Slytherins walked to their table and the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws walked to theirs.

"Hey Hermione why have you been so close to malfoy recently?" Ginny asked raising her eyebrows.

"I already told you guys were trying to get along." Hermione answered.

"Are you sure that's it? I mean Malfoy is pretty handsome." Ginny was now hoping Hermione got the point.

"Gin, do you mean." Harry asked sounding offended.

"You know what I mean Harry. Of course you are the only one for me." Ginny said kissing her boyfriend.

"Gin trust me it's not that."

"Besides even if it was Hermione would tell us, right?" Harry said matter-o-factly.

"Right."

They all ate dinner and when they were done all the girls had eaten way more then the boys, even Lavender. All the couples from all the houses had been becoming friends. After the war the Slytherins had gotten over all the blood prejudice and the Gryffindors didn't have as much pride then before the war. At least they didn't show it. After dinner they had all met up and walked back to hogsmead.

"Bye guys." Herione said as she waved to the rest of the couples. Her and Draco went in the apartment and both sat down on the couch.

"What do you want to do, Granger?" He asked.

"We could watch a movie and just hang out and talk." Hermione suggested.

"What the hell's a movie." He asked. He had no clue what any muggle stuff was or what they did. But he wanted to learn so this was a start.

"You see that box there, it has story's that you watch. Most are about an hour to an hour and a half. And real people play all the characters." She explained.

"Sure pick something out." He replied.

They ended up watching The Princess Bride as it was one of Hermiones favorites. Hermione had ended up falling asleep and falling onto Draco. He let her sleep because he knew she needed it. He finished the the movie and carried her to her bed and set her down. He didn't want to put her down though. He had never told anyone but he has had a crush on her since he saw he at the Yule ball.
