A Baby Project (Dramione)

Chapter 5

"Hey Hermione do you want to go out with me tomorrow? No. Damn it what am I going to do?" Draco had been stressing like this since Hermione said she liked him on Monday. It was now Friday and he wanted to ask her out. "Hermione I've been meaning to ask you if you wanted to go on a date with me? No that's bad too."

"Draco? What are you doing?" Hermione had walked in just as he had finished talking.

"Oh uh, nothing important. But I uh wanted to ask you if you wanted to um go to hogsmead with me tomorrow?" He was so nervous. He really wanted her to say yes.

"Like a date?"

"Yeah. I know it's stupid I -"

"Yes. I would love to go on a date with you."

"Really?"

"Yes Draco."

She went over and hugged Draco. Something he wasn't used to but wanted to be. Draco was much taller then Hermione so she was able to rest her head just below his chin.

"Well I'm going over to Ginny's. I'll be back in about an hour. Bye."

"Bye."

Hermione walked as fast as she could over to Ginny's and knocked on the door. Ginny answered and Hermione walked straight in.

"Is Harry here?"

"No he just left for quidditch practice and I can't play so. What do you need?"

"You are never going to believe what just happened. Draco asked me out!" Ginny was the only one who know about Hermione's secret crush.

"Oh my god are you serious?"

"Yes. I'm so excited. I need you help I don't know what to wear. We're just going to hogmead. So I want to look nice but casual."

"I have just the thing." Ginny pulled out one of her outfits.

"It's perfect."

The two girls talked about everything from boys to baby names. After a little over an hour Hermione went home to get some sleep for the next day.

Hermione woke up to breakfast in bed from Draco. He had asked Ginny what Hermione liked and made all her favorite. Pancakes with butter and syrup, sausage, and toast with cinnamon sugar.

"Oh Draco you didn't have to do this."

"I wanted it to be a good day. I hope you like it."

"Wait do you want eat with me?"

"Oh I already ate."

"Will you at least sit in here with me."

"Alright." He went over and sat on her bed with her.

"So what are we doing today?" She asked putting a piece of pancake in her mouth.

"I thought we could walk around hogsmead for a bit get some lunch then do whatever you want to do then I take you to dinner and when we get back I have a surprise for you."

"That sounds wonderful. Thank you for breakfast." She was levitating the tray into the kitchen and was getting up. "Well I have to shower." She said getting up. Draco went into the kitchen and did dishes then got dressed. He was wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans. Hermione walked out of the bathroom with a light blue sweater, covered by a leather jacket, jeans, and black shoes.

All Draco could do was stare. She look amazing.

"Wow Hermione you look amazing."

"Thank you."

"Shall we go now."

"I think we should."
