"you know kacchan, i've always considered you my best friend" deku randomly spouted out as him and bakugou sat on a bench.

"that's the dumbest shit i've ever heard" he bluntly responded.

deku laughed to make himself feel better "haha, i know. i mean who am i kidding, who would want to be friends with a loser like me" he said as tears began to fill his eyes as he looked down at the grass below him.

"why would you want to be friends with a shitbag like me?" he asked

deku looked over at him, he was looking over his shoulder to the distance, deep in thought. "i don't know. i really don't. i just..can't get enough of you." he said as he started fumbling with his hands.

"i wouldn't be friends with me if i was you. i'm so damn weak. all i do is yell at you, yet you waste your time trying to be friends with someone like me," he looked into deku's eyes "i'll never understand you."

deku weakly smiled "sometimes you don't have to understand" he said as he looked back down to the ground to let tears stream down his face.

bakugou looked down at him,

he's crying..

"you really do cry over anything, huh" he calmly said as he looked over at the boy.

deku sniffled "kacchan, you may never understand but there's something amazing about you that i just can't let go. even in childhood you always did something that never ceased to amaze me. and even now." he said as he looked up, smiling at bakugou.

bakugou slightly smiled back but then was engulfed into a hug. he was startled at first but once he realized what was happening, he hesitated to hug back.

deku let his face rest in bakugou's chest as he appreciated a moment that will probably never happen again,

you'll never understand how much i love you..
