'I look down at the letter, and my scowl turns into a frown.

I wave my wand over the envelope.

After I'm sure that it can't do my person any adverse effects, I break the wax seal.

I read the letter once and then twice, my eyes widening.'

-The Next Day-

Luna's POV:

I blink my eyes open, taking in my room through tired eyes.

I notice the letter on my bedside table and I smile, recalling last night.

After stretching, I stand up to get ready for the day.

-Time Skip-

I skip out of the bathroom, wearing my favorite turnip earrings, and my nargle repelling necklace, to go with my outfit.

I take my wand and shrink my bed and nightstand, and then I put them in my trunk with my other things.

Then I carefully pick up my mother's picture and place it in the cushioned pouch in the corner.

Then I take my trunk in one hand, and the letter in the other.

I tap it with my wand, whispering, "Around the bend."

My room disappears in a swirl of colors.

Then I'm standing in an unfamiliar room.

Severus himself comes out to greet me a moment later.

"Ah Miss Lovegood, or should I say Miss Truthweaver?"

I raise an eyebrow.

He indicates for me to follow, telling the story of an incident that happened years ago.

Harry's POV:

I stare down at the letter in my hand.

Should I go?

Flashback:

It reads:

Dear Hadrian,

First, I should apologize.

I deeply regret treating you as I have, but it was necessary to keep both of us safe.

In the past, I made a horrible mistake in joining Voldemort. His ideals were just what I wanted to hear, and I received the mark. After he finished recruiting us, he showed us what he was really like, and many of us wanted to take it back. We were cowed into following his lead after seeing the things he would do when someone disappointed him.

I went to Dumbledore and begged and pleaded for him to forgive me. For him to take it away.

His reaction was one I was familiar with from my past. I don't know why I thought he would help.
