Alice's POV

"Betty and Jug are still asleep?" FP asks. "I think so, all the others are up because it's 1 pm. They're usually the first ones up." I say. "We should check on them." He says. I nod. We go upstairs and knock on their door. No answer. We open the door. They're both still sleeping. "They look paler than a ghost." I say. We go up to them and feel their forehead. "They definitely have a fever." FP sighs. I go to their bathroom and get the thermometer. I shake them and they groan. "Stooopp." Betty groans and hides her face into Jug's neck. I sigh and turn Betty around. "Betty, you guys are both sick." I tell her. She sits up and pushes Jug off the bed. "Ow." He says and sits on the bed. "You said we wouldn't get sick dingus." She tells him. "I told you to wear a bigger coat." He says and hugs her. She hugs him back. "Okay, you need to take the thermometer." FP tells them. They sigh and Betty takes the thermometer. "102.7." I sigh. "Your turn Jug." I say.  He takes it. "100.5." I say. "Betty's the main source of sickness." Jug says and FP and I nod and turn to her. She's passed out next to Jug. "How do you feel Jug?" FP asks him. " I feel fine, usually Betty wakes me up." He says. "So your fever is only her body heat?" I ask. He nods and kisses Betty's forehead. "I'm hungry." He says out of nowhere, breaking the silence of us looking at Betty. "She barely ever gets sick." FP says. I sigh and we go downstairs.

It's a couple hours later and Betty is still asleep. "She will probably sleep all day." Cheryl says. "I did that when I was sick." She adds. "Yeah, but Betty likes to read when she's sick, so she probably won't be asleep for long." Jug says. We all nod because we know Betty. "I'm going to heck on her." Jug says.

Jug's POV

I walk up the stairs and into Betty and I's room. I see her on the bed crying. "Betty, what's wrong." I ask rushing up to her. "He's back." She cries. "The man with the black hood?" I ask. She nods and I pull her into a hug. "It's okay, I got you. Do you want a book or your laptop to calm down?" I ask and start to get up. "Juggie?" She asks. "Yeah Betts?" I ask. "I need you, not some object or a therapist. I need you." She says. I pull her close to me and kiss her lovingly. "I love you." I say. "I love you too." She says and kisses me again. "Are you feeling better?" I ask and she nods. I make a whole bunch of funny faces at her and she giggles. I wipe her tears away and kiss her cheek. "Jug, can you promise me something?" She asks. I nod. "Don't ever leave me, please." She begs. "I would never leave you Betts, you're so special and I love you too much to break up with you." I say and we lay down on the bed talking about random things.
