We all stood in front of the castle and watched the fireworks explode and amaze us. About halfway through, Mark grabbed my camera and said that he wanted to 'record the magic', whatever that meant. I let him and he started filming. Just as he did, Jack grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly. I squeezed back but looked at him confused.
"You okay?" I asked.
He just nodded.
"So..." He began, "I had a whole speech prepared but now I'm nervous which made me forget so I'm just going to wing it." He said to me as I looked at him, confused.
I looked around and saw everyone watching us.
"I met you quite some time ago and loved you ever since I laid eyes on you. It just took some time for me to realize it. When you said that you would be my girlfriend as you had whipped cream from a latte on your face, it was one of the best days of my life and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of that life with you." He said as he got down on one knee and pulled out a small black velvet box.
I realized what was happening and began to cry.
"(Y/F/N) (Y/M/N) Fischbach, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He asked.
I couldn't speak. I nodded my head and continued to cry.
"Y-Yes!" I finally choked out.
He slid the ring onto my finger and kissed me. People around us started clapping and Mark started to cry. We broked the kiss when we finally decided to come back for air. Jack held my hands and put his forehead against mine.
"You're going to be a Mcloughlin." He said while smiling.
"And I still haven't met your parents." I reminded him.
"Oh yeah... oops." He said.
I laughed and kissed him again before we left to head back to our hotel.
