: oh when the feels come marching in :

•Ella's pov•

I arrived at the cafe I'm supposed to be meeting my spur-of-the-moment date at. I opened the door and looked around, as my eyes scanned the small crowed of people I didn't see the stranger. I suppose I could be a little early, or he could be running a little late, so I took a seat near the door.

My phone buzzed in my coat pocket.

"Destiny and fate aren't the same thing, yet there so close."

My eyes practically rolled out of my head. Who is texting me and why.

"What the f*ck do you want!" I replied to the anonymous text and put my phone on do not disturb.

As if on cue the man I met earlier today walked into the cafe and greeted me with a smile.

"Hello again." he grinned as he took a seat across from me

"Hi." I smiled " I don't think I caught your name earlier, but mine is Ella."

"That's a gorgeous name, mine is Thomas." I giggled a little, bit not a flirtatious one, just a...friendly one? "So would you like to eat here or would you like to go somewhere fun?" Thomas raised an eyebrow

"I'm all up for fun, as long as it involves food."

"Alright then, grab your coat, i want to show you something. and yes there will be food."

I threw on my coat and followed Thomas out of the cafe and down the street. The further we walked the more suspicious I became of the man. My mind wandered for a moment when I realized how far I've come in the past few months.

I actually smiled at a random stranger today and I'm not in bed with him right now, we're on a date. A nice, calm, laid back outing, if that doesn't show how far I've come since last year I don't know what will.

"Ok I know we walked for a bajillion years but I promise I'm not taking you to murder you." I laughed at his use of the word bajillion. I thought I was the only one to use that word.

"I didn't think you were going to murder me Thomas. I'm not completely sure why but I feel like I can trust you."

"It's probably just my posh British accent."

"Could be."

I gasped as I saw where we were.

We were at the mother f*cking circus and oh my gosh I haven't been to a circus in forever.

I squealed "oh my god I haven't been to one of these in, oh I don't know, a bajillion years!!!"

"Well I'm glad it pleases you. Come on let's go get some food and seats for the show." I am in love

This man doesn't even know me but he somehow knew to bring me to a circus. it's almost like fa-... Wait a second

I pulled out my phone and checked my texts.

"Destiny and fate aren't the same thing, yet they're so close." I re-read the text. But then my eyes wandered to the text above it. "Not all is as clear as it seems."

Chills shot down my spine as I got the feeling that something bad is going to happen tonight. But Thomas seems like such a sweet guy, I can't see him doing anything to me. I chose to push the negative thoughts into my mental garbage can as my new friend called my name.

"Ella?" he repeated

"Yeah sorry." I blinked rapidly to emerge from my dazed state

"It's fine." he smiled " I just asked what you wanted to eat, were at the front of the line now."
