KATNISS
I sit on my bed as I rub my fingers on my temples. Feeling so drained from the lack of sleep.
It's the middle of the night and the baby monitor buzzes to life and I hear Willow's screaming and crying . I feel Peeta stirring beside me and evetually getting up. I stop him before he can reach the door.
"It's ok Peeta, I'll go get her." He obliges and slides back to our bed. "Alright mama bear do your thing" he says and kisses my cheek.
I get up and grab my silk robe hanging on our bedroom door. I put it on me and tie the straps. I come inside Willow's room and she's still crying.
"Hey baby what's wrong? Are you hungry? You need a change?" I say in a soothing voice as I come closer to her. Oh what am I talking about? She can't understand a thing I'm saying, she's a baby!
When she sees me coming closer, she throws her arms in front of me. Probably just wants me to get her and her chubby baby cheeks are still stained with tears.
When I pick her up, she immediatley stops crying. "Aww is that all you wanted, a hug from Mommy?" I tell her. "Mm...ma..m....Mama!" She says with a giggle. Her very first word!
I have to admit, that was one of the sweetest sounds I've ever heard. Hearing your daughter call you Mama for the first time is the best feeling in the world.
"Peeta come quick!" He comes straight the door on full panic mode. "What's wrong?!" He says with his voice all nervous. "Everything's fine" I giggle.
He goes out of the room. "Hey come back Willow just said her first word!" He comes running back. "Can you say dada?" He says trying to tickle Willow while she's still in my arms.
I lift her up to Peeta so he can hold her. She tries her best to say dada but only manages a "Fawa!" I giggle and Peeta hands her back to me.
"I'm going back to bed okay?" He says. "Alright, good night" Then he gives me a peck on the lips. Peeta turns his back to leave but before he reaches the door, Willow reaches for him and says "Dada!" With her sweet baby voice.
A/N: Eh, well that was boring BUt anyways I hope that was still cute and fluffy. Also, sorry for any grammar errors or any mistakes there maybe. (English isn't really my first language.)
