Despite the sassy attitude yoongi liked to drown you in 24/7, there were times were he was extremely self conscious. Of course there was no reason to be, yet there were moments were all he needed was a bit of comfort from you.
Today was one of those days, you could tell from the moment he woke up, gripping your fingertip and refusing to let go. He was looking up at you, eyes glazed over with unshed tears, instantly needing you by his side.
All morning he stayed cuddled up to your neck, he would fall asleep every now and then but quickly wake up before the nightmares claimed him again.
When you were watching tv, you would stroke his hair with the tip of your finger, knowing better than to ask him, you kept your mouth shut and let yoongi seek comfort from you in whichever way he may need.
He didn't want any particular television programme on, or any kind of food, friend over, or even a new cat toy. He just wanted you by his side.
As night came along, you decided yoongi needed something that you knew would cheer him up instantly. Marshmallows. He sat on your shoulder, eating the pieces you had given him, his love for you blooming after each bite. He hated feeling this way, you hated seeing him this way. But he knew that as long as he had you by his side taking care of him, everything was going to be alright.
