imagine ... yoongi and his teddy match.
Yoongi was furious that you weren't wearing the same pyjamas as him.
"Why are yours different!" He screamed, almost spilling the hot chocolate in his fit of rage. He was standing there in his red Rudolph pyjamas, slippers and a small hat to match. You however were in your favourite snowman pair, a tradition over the festive holidays.
"We don't need to match all the time, Yoongi." You insisted, however it fell on deaf ears as he stomped over to his small set of drawers, insistent on finding his own snowman pyjamas. However, he looked up at you, tears glazing his eyes.
"I don't have snowman pyjamas." He whimpered running up to you, arms up ready for the love and comfort he was about to receive for this devastating news. The fact that you two couldn't match was heartbreaking to him, you on the other hand weren't fazed at all but don't tell him that.
The next morning you noticed Yoongi walking much slower than usual, almost like he wanted you to notice something. His beady eyes glaring at you through yellow lenses confirmed your suspicions. Looking down at his hands where his small kitten teddy rested, he only hugged him when he was sad or you weren't in sight.
He lifted his teddy up a little higher, his eyes still on you and that's when you noticed what he was wearing. His hair was pushed back with a grey headband, sunglasses rested upon his nose, the yellow lenses reflecting onto his skin. That's also when you noticed the teddy was wearing the exact same thing.
Once Yoongi was content with the fact you had seen him and the teddy, he continued to walk along the table to his designated seat at his table. Looking at you through the corner of his eye he was content with the fact that you were looking at him and decided to unleash the hidden weapon.
"At least you match with me Mr. Teddy" he whispered, but made sure you could hear him "Unlike some MEANIES."
The rest of the day was spent with Yoongi throwing digs your way and the teddy being absolutely disgusted according to Yoongi.
"Just match with me Y/N!" He exclaimed once he realised his act wasn't working. Smiling at him, you showed him the small present that rested in the palm of your hand. You'd managed to slip out of the room and get it while he was throwing yet another tantrum.
He looked up at you arms outstretched for the present he was about to receive. Almost as if he had completely forgotten he was upset, he ripped open the paper and what was inside made his eyes tear up.
