We land at the back of the garden, far from the house so that we can put away our wings without being seen. No sooner do I have my wings away, then I feel a stabbing pain in my chest. I fall to the ground grabbing at my chest. Krelldan catches me and lays me on my back.
"Diva! What's wrong?!" he looks over my body, his voice laced with panic.
"Illidan!" I gasp as I point to the house. Krelldan's face goes pale as his eyes continue to search for an external problem. "Krelldan! Go!" I scream in agony knowing that the only way to stop the pain is for Illidan to calm down. As he runs to the house to find what caused Illidan's sudden wave of negative emotions I can feel my dormant powers begin to wake, threatening to make me lose control. I struggle to my feet and stumble towards the house fighting to keep my powers dormant. I reach the door in time to feel another white hot stab of pain in my chest. It's enough to drive me off the edge. My vision goes red and my wings emerge from my back once again. Fangs take the place of my teeth and my fingernails lengthen into claws. Driven mad by pain I walk into the living room where Emily and Tristan are arguing. Krelldan sits in a corner trying to calm Illidan down. As I enter the room all eyes turn to me. Krelldan's eyes go wide with horror and Emily and Tristan look frantically at Illidan then around the room for any weapon they might use to stop me. Finding nothing they both take defensive positions in front of Krelldan and Illidan. I slowly turn towards them everything in the room dyed red by the glow in my eyes. Seeing their stance, my instincts kick in and I attack.
Krelldan immediately throws himself in front of me and screams. "DIVA!! Stop! It's me, Krelldan!" Emily screams as I smack him away like a doll. He hits the far wall with a thud and slides to the floor unable to do anything but watch in stunned silence as his out of control demon fiancé bares her fangs at the rest of his family. Emily's eyes narrow and she attacks me.
Then everything goes black as Illidan screams. "Mom! No!"
