It's hard to believe that it's been three whole months since Asta, Yuno, and I became Magic Knights. I still remember when we were just needy little kids back in Hage. Time flies. I distinctly remember when the three of us had become rivals. To this day, we still carry that vow. I wonder why all of this is coming back to me now. Maybe it's because I'm trying to lift my spirits. I need to remember what I'm here for. I feel so empty.

My eyes wander from star to star as I stare up at the night sky. Tears begin to cloud my vision, but I use my Golden Dawn cape to wipe them away.

Why should I be crying? I'm apart of such an elite squad and I have such lovely friends. Who am I to shed a tear?

My hands aimlessly play with the blades of grass below me.

Maybe I'm homesick. That must be all it is.

I don't how long I've been out here, but it must've been a while because Yuno was apparently looking for me.

"There you are. You've been gone for hours," he plops down on the grass beside me.

"Sorry...I lost track of time," I admit.

"What are you doing out here anyways?"

"I was bored."

"Oh...well you missed dinner. I tried to find you beforehand, but I didn't have time."

"That's okay, I'm not hungry."

We sat in silence for a minute until Yuno spoke up.

"Do you ever get home sick?"

I swear he's a mind reader.
