CHAPTER 10

CORBYN :

I was standing there in the kitchen holding the empty beer bottle fixing the emptiness , my mind out of my brain somewhere , still can't relate all what happened today , lost in between love and reality , I don't know what to believe , I feel dizzy , gosh .. I never felt that lost before , i can't find my way .

Mari was so happy to go over to visit the boys and I was so happy seeing her smiling all day and I felt blessed listening to the sound of her laugh that I always loved , everything was okay till this ' Clara ' showed up , Mari's face was changing every single time , knowing that there's a girl living with the boys , Rye not going downstairs to welcome her home and not telling her he missed her , and then finding out that Clara is not anyone else but Rye's girlfriend , those looks exchange between him and Mari , and then Mari picking up her stuff after whatever happened when she left to wash her hands and suddenly deciding to live with me forever , and deciding to leave and not wanting to stay the night because " my best friends are coming to visit " she said , and the way she was talking and kissing me before leaving the boys house , I'm really lost thinking about all of that , I mean how could everything changes in a blink of an eye ! .

I knew that something's wrong when she told them that she can't stay the night because my best friends are coming over tomorrow , because it's not true , they're not coming tomorrow but next week , I would like to know why did she wanted to leave suddenly , and how quickly she decided to live with me forever , I mean I'm glad she wanted to but I have a bad feeling about it , I feel like everything is messed up .

Seeing that she took long time showering I went to my bethroom to take a light shower too , and when I finished I went to the dining room and sat on the couch to turn on the TV and search for the next episode of " Stranger Things " , I always loved this serie and watching it with Mari was fun , I like every single reaction she has during all the episode and the way she doesn't stop talking about it after watching it .

She really did took long time , why didn't she went downstairs yet , I have to go see her and see what's happening .

When I went to her room the door was open and the room was empty , I reached to her bethroom and I saw her standing there in front of the mirror .

" Mari , what's wrong ? , What took you so long ? " . I asked entering and she opened the tap and turned to face me , I looked at her confused with her reaction .

" Um .. no- ... Nothing , I was about to go downstairs " . she said and walked away from me , I stepped to the bathroom sink and looked what's in it and there was nothing in it , what is she hiding from me ! .

We watched the episode in each others arms like usual , but this time she was holding me tighter , like she is afraid of something , and I don't think it's because of the serie , we watched one season and a half and she was never afraid like now .

" Mari , honey , is there something wrong ? , You look like you're afraid of something ! " . I asked her and she looked up at me then looked down again .

" Nothing Corbyn , I just feel cold " . she told me with a quiet voice so barley I can hear her . I hugged her tight and took up her face between my hands and looked into her eyes , and all I can see is fear and sorrow in it .

" Are you sure there's nothing , Mari ? , You know that you can talk to me ? " . She looked at me for a while and nodded , she put her head on my neck and hugged me so tight and I hugged her back .

" I'm sorry " . she whispered to me .

" Sorry for what ? " . I asked confused .
