"Katy, I really want to leave now," you said to your drunk friend.
"Yeah yeah, just a few more songs, okay (Y/n)?" she slurred as she clung to your arm, she was so drunk she couldn't even stand properly. "Katy..." you whined, "I just want to go h-" you cut yourself off as you saw Ashton approach you two.
"Hi Ash." your friend giggled as she poked you in the side playfully knowing you had the biggest crush on him.
"Hi Katy, hi Y/n," Ashton answered with a smile on his face, "You guys havin' fun?" "Yeah, well Katy definitely is," you said as you glared at her, if you'd just left when you wanted to, you wouldn't have run into Ashton. You hated how nervous you got around him.
"Oh you're just mad at me because now Ashton's here and you didn't want to see him," Katy slurred.
"Shut up!" you quickly hissed at her. "What do you mean you didn't want to see me?" Ashton questioned, looking hurt and sounding a tad disappointed.
"Well, my friend. Y/n here has a huge crush on you," Katy said before you could answer him. "And she didn't want to get all awkward and nervous around you, so she's been trying to avoid you the whole night." she smiled.
Ashton looked at you in surprise as your cheeks turned red. "I guess the secret is out then," you muttered and looked at the floor.
Katy slurred something about going back to dance and disappeared into the crowd, leaving you alone with Ashton.
"So, you like me huh?" Ashton smirked at you. "I guess that gives me a pretty good opportunity to finally ask you out."
